Indeed but they are signed pre season , and once signed are not easy to un sign

This season has really been one to forget,my whole point of the thread was we finished 6th this year not good enough by far, yet next season unless we improve our playing squad we could be looking at finishing lower in the League.
All our competitors will be stronger yet inevitably when a few more leave the Club we will be weaker,most teams will see us as as 2 points , it's been talked about KP staying, I can see Widnes gazing over here.

There is time to act yet but DB must make his mind up soon.

Consider also that KP has just stated he would stay as Head Coach of Leigh even on a part time contract if necessary, a measure of the man IMHO.

It is also my opinion that KP has done a great job given the nature of his taking over from Jukes,

Many would say the same of Jukes taking over from Rowley. Your point being one coach made SL the other didn't, and one in waiting.

We all have our views on what went wrong over the last couple of Season's and here's mine;
Without doubt the halfbacks have been our trouble since Martin Ridyard left! Along side Ridyard Josh Drinkwater looked amongst the best in the Comp! Pairing Josh with Ben Reynolds didn't work and, pairing Huchinson with Reynolds has also not worked! The main reason is, lack of pace! none of them has any pace even Ridyard however, Ridyard has a football brain far superior to any of the others which compensates for his lack of pace! You've just got to have some pace around the middle and we never have! Brierley had pace to burn however his play making ability is limited and he struggles to get a game at Toronto! Week after week we see opposition halves completely outplaying ours and Sunday against Batley just emphasized it once more! Whilst Brambani is not the quickest his partner Jouffret made up for Brambani's lack of pace by repeatedly slice through us! Ironically Batley are not satisfied with resting on those two alone, they've gone and signed Danny Yates from Rochdale to add to their Halfback options



I believe Drew has been a good signing for us and whatever we have paid him, he has played every game, I think

I'll never be a fan of Ben Reynolds he's not my type of player, I'm glad he's not seriously injured and he's currently recovering at home with his family and, I hope he gets new Club very,very soon!

I believe DB made his mind up some considerable time ago
