Unfortunately with Gardner, Pownall, Riddy, Kes & Finnegan unavailable for long periods our pre season starting 7 will be probably be completely different to that.
I'm going to say-
1.Armstrong (played well for saints there although when players back centre/wing)
2.Brown
3.Maden
4.Higson
5.Campbell
6.Beswick
7.McNally
Although once our alleged new halve back is announced I would be put McNally to FB & put Armstrong to centre instead of Mado. Littler to replace the injured Finnegan in't back row.

If we sign Johnny Campbell I might just explode. Two quick wingers in a Leigh side! We will have to drop the "beleighve" & "we're in this together" slogans and just have "Alex & Johnny, better than Viagra". Now I'd buy tee shirts with that on.

Do you know if Govin is on contract for next season ? Re Littler in the pack why ? I think we have plenty of very good candidates there quite honestly. |
