Last years ticket was too cheap and the neutral figure against last year will be much lower due to increased admission costs, this year is about survival by generating income and controling costs - I hate to say this but the RL is a distant second, although it would be nice to have a good year again.'"
It was said at the last Fans Forum that 1,800 is the break even - an average of 2,000 would see most (if not all?) of the debt paid off by the end of the season and 2,200 would see us make a certain amount of profit.
Would be interesting to see the difference in season ticket income between this season and last as I there was a minimum £40 increase for adults, although I actually paid £85 more than 2011 when bearing in mind buying for the West Stand and an extra kids one. I'm sure I'm not the only one as well.

| For this 2000 or 1800 speccies to break even etc. Is this based on what % Adults - kids ratio? Surely as an extreme example we got 1800 kids and 200 adults we would be struggling.
Also the attendance of 1400 at Hunslet - did that include ST's that didn't go?

Good question - I'll find out. I thought that only clicks of the turnstile counted, but could well be wrong!

I have missed something here? What debt, we took the RFL money early to pay off Taxman - what other debt?
If 1800 is break even, as LL states it depends on mix and, as we have already discussed, it seems the policy was to spread income rather than sell season tickets cheaply - income is king how we achieve it doesn't really matter this year.

Maybe debt isn't the right way to phrase it then (although I'm sure that was the phrase used at the Fans Forum), but either way there's a £90k deficit because of taking the RFL money early to pay HMRC.
The mix of adults/concessions etc is generally pretty consistent so I'm sure that will have been taken in to account.

Unless of course, you are willing to devote some of your undoubted knowledge, expertise and time to boosting our crowds to 12,000, raking in much needed sponsorship and saving the day - without needing to talk to anyone else, in achieving that?
I am in awe of your honesty in the matter, but I wouldn't advise the former. I don't think the latter is achievable but let me know after the Wheeltappers entertainment group has met to discuss strategy.

I may be thick, indeed I probably am, but if we take 2012 money to pay 2011 bill, then we forecast 2012 income and as such break even crowds knowing we don't have that revenue coming in. Hence does 1800, 2000 or 2200 cover costs? If they don't want us to know fair enough, they own it, if they do then lets settle on what is needed to do exactly what.

Its very important we don't dilute our entertainment impact, either the punch n Judy moves to the tower or your getting sand in your size 32's.

We can either talk about things and then implement some of them, and try to improve life, or we can constantly appear on here, moaning about a total lack of transparency, and what has been done wrong that is, according to some, harming the club, even more.
Some of us have chosen the former and some the latter - which category do you fall into?

| I am definately getting thicker by the day 200 fans over 12 games =£24000 pa, this is nowhere near the £90k used to pay off last years tax bill so I am at a loss to understand this 1800, 2000 and 2200 gate income conundrum.
My comments refn PSG and TC were uncalled for last night btw - sorry.

I'm advised that only S/T holders who attend the game, count in the attendance.

I believe that if we get 1800 we will meet our budget commitments, if we get 2000+ then we'll likely turn a small profit. That's my understanding of the situation.
