Just taken the dog for a walk and it's snowing (as opposed to sleet) Given the underfoot conditions tonight it is 100% better than two days ago. (never slipped once tonight)

I must confess that my optimism is waning as I'm looking out of the window. If all that snow freezes, which it inevitably will, we must be struggling.

If it's on, the ground staff have done incredibly.

If the snow freezes the game will be on. It's when it's been melting and raining then freezes again when it is bad. Agree entirely Matt. Frozen snow is a lot easier to walk on than snow that has had rain on it and then frozen with an ice covering.

Doesn't really matter about the weather, it's all about the access to the surrounding areas to the stadium. If you can safely negotiate the car parks and the footpaths then there's not a problem. After all, if you really want to go to a game you'll take the necessary precautions to get there safely. You can drive there, take a taxi, get the wife to give you a lift(hopefully) or bum a lift with someone. Failing that, you can stay at home and think after"I'd wish I'd gone to the match now!" k020.gif

When the game was called off the other Sunday, the underfoot conditions were atrocious. Yet how many ventured out shopping or visiting relatives that day? icon_surprised.gifops:

Totally agree with you! Unfortunately its not our choice its the H&S crowd!

I'll be travelling to Preston tomorrow to work and I'll make it there and back no problem but the last 500 yards I have to walk from my house to the stadium will be deemed unsafe im guessing! Crazy
