I have just watched the Castleford v Hull Airlie Birds clash on SKY. What struck me at HT was the respect both Powell and Lee Radford command from their players. All players are sat attentively. Total eyes are fixated on their respected coaches whilst speaking.

Does Jukes Command such respect from his players? The answer is an emphatic NO.

Last year we were live on SKY around 10 times, most people like myself will still have those games in their recorders.

Most occasions, our players are not even listening to him , let alone looking at him. They are up and walking around him, in and out of shot, preferring to chat to each other than be bothered with anything he may be saying.

You don't need any league table to show the superior coached teams that's for sure.

In a heartbeat I would have Edwards over the Jukes/Cunningham pantomime !

That guy was born a RL player & not only was he one of the very best in the world, he has been working in a culture of professionalism previously unknown at our level.

Edwards will have a grip on modern RL make no mistake, does anyone actually believe he doesn't follow the code ?

If Shaun Edwards does come back into RL it will be with 1 of the USA teams. DB wouldn't be able to handle a strong-headed coach and therein lies the problem at Leigh. It's much like the Koukash problem at Salford when Noble and Harris left. DB will only employ a coach he can manipulate so I don't expect to see a top coach at Leigh.

Thanks Steve, thats a very reasoned argument as to why Shaun would become coach at Leigh. I presume that your lack of valid reasons means that, whilst on the surface you think a poorly formed hurl of very minor abuse should have me turning on my heels, underneath you actually agree with me....
