You will never please everybody with kick off times and Match day dates, Leigh to their credit have tried Friday and Saturday nights as well as Sunday afternoons, and they plumped for Sunday afternoons because they were the most successful and best attended.Also they make a lot of income on the Corporate side, and again the Sunday afternoon is the time the Corporate Boxes and Premier Club are full.

Yeah I work nights and a lot of weekends so no pleasing me then. A lot of people don't have the luxury to choose when they work

When do they start ? The week after the Dewsbury game, or 2 weeks after ? (Tried 'Google' for the answer, nothing doing !)

I think there will be a week off, so the rfl can sort out the fixtures and it gives the clubs time to make arrangements as well.

Not sure there's much advantage to shifting game day with the Qualifiers TV day being Saturday. We might need to consider playing regularly on Saturdays if we go up & have to contend with the madness of Thursday night games. Really hope we don't decide to go for weeknight fixtures regularly, such a faff & rush trying to get back from work & get to the game. Yes some people work Sundays but many many more work Fridays. Friday night games are for clubs who value their sponsors more than their fans.
