| I'm quite suprised no comments have been left by Leigh supporters.
Tonight should be an excellent match, very close.
At Dewsbury, this the first time in years we have had a reserve team, and the rugby is quality. If fact some supporters have enjoyed matches more than the 1st team games.
Some of the youngsters have made a few 1st team apperences and i would expect them to be pushing for a 1st team place next year.
We have been averaging around 250 fans for the matches and expect around the same to turn up tonight.
I'd say to Leigh fans, turn up tonight, you'll be supprised on the quality of rugby on show

| I'm team manager for our reserves and respect the rugby your young men play. Trying to persuade people about the quality of the reserve teams is not too easy as you may well know. All we can do is keep letting RFL to acknowledge what everyone involved does on this front is difficult. Good luck for tonight everything is place regards the background of running the game and all we need is a big response from both sets of spectators, hoping for at least 1000 watching, last season was a cracking game against our friends from Sheffield and from my experience at your ground can only see it being better this time. Your 3v 1 up so far this season so maybe tonight could be payback time, just hoping all appreciate the time and work put into our meagre Reserve Team League.
regards
Don Boyle
Team manager
on my way to ground now.

| Lost to a last minute try, final play of the game
Leigh 28 Dews 30.
Should have closed it out. 2 points up with a minute to go and Foster tried to drill it into the corner from our own 40 and it went out on the full. Dews got the ball in good position and crashed over in the dying seconds.
Great game played in good spirits with plenty of skill on show.
Dews number 36 (Brad Delaney?) bossed the 1st half but didn't notice him in the 2nd.
Our best were Mitch Cox, Cory Lee and Eze Harper.
Pala and Hoppy played for us but Hoppy got injured and was in his club shirt for the 2nd half.
Austin Buchanan, Byron Smith and Kieran Hyde played for Dews. Smith made a big impact for them 2nd half and we could have done with Hoppy out there to combat him.
Great game with about 750 crowd I think.
If we'd have had our 'elite' reserves playing who are out on loan like Bullock, Tracey, Hankinson, Liku, Peet etc I think we'd have won comfortably but they are better out on loan in Championship 1 to gain experience at a higher level.
Future looks bright and some of these lads look the real deal. If Cory Lee has a growth spurt he could be brilliant.

| Think Nozzy summed it, up a great game played to RFL standards. There's always next season heads up and carry on. Thought the Ref had a decent game and the crowd should have gone home happy having seen Rugby League at Junior level performing at Senior level. Well done to both teams and I hope the Rams keep the trophy polished for us next year. We'll be back!

| The ref did have a good game but the two well disciplined teams made his job easy.

| Was a very good close game. Thought we were the better team ball in hand and had the beating of them but Dews played it just right; kept play right down in Leigh's half and were excellent at getting repeat sets. Both teams looked good, good to see teams building for the future, hopefully will have more teams with reserves next year.

| I think it is unfair to refer to the players out on loan as the 'Elite' reserves.
There were lads beyond the 3 you mentioned who played well and and really wanted the win.
Yes a couple of the players on loan would of helped to secure the win, but unfair to dismiss the efforts of the lads who did play hard and well.
