They "stood him down" over texts he sent about steroid use is how I understand it after he suggested he was joking. Guess they didn't want to take the risk but he was never tested positive

Looks a great player off the highlights put together fast n strong..Highlight tho for me was Ryan Brierly turning down Salford n Leeds to stay at the Centurions with a contract extension..Regarding all the new signings tonite im well pleased all three look the part and want to play for the Centurions

Salford & Leeds both made big plays for Ryan but HE has turned them down to stay with Leigh, talks are expected to be concluded soon on an extended contract for Ryan.

I'd say they're all very good signings, just lacking the 'star' quality of big well-known names.
