Missed that one John. Bugger.

Ours was never a formal arrangement in the same manner though and my understanding would be that Swinton will now only be able to get players from Warrington whereas we've had players from Wigan, Warrington, Saints and Castleford?

| IN Swintons case this must be in their favour as they have very few players coming through their ranks and the majority of their team are our ex players and ex players from all around the area.
Whereas if we teamed with W**** we would then lose our best youngsters that come through to W****, I would have thought.
Interesting interview though on GMR last night with young Mr Tomkins, they was taliking to him about his brother playing rugby union and he said hes not ready to go to rugby union YET!!!!!!!!
Time the RFL looked at ways to improve our game and stop us losing our up and coming stars to rugby union, and time to look at ways were rugby league is played on an even playing field again.

Never 6 at a time. That will be one third of their team. What's up with the current limit. Simple really this will allow SL teams to cut costs. Think your missing the point Brad. We will be playing some teams in the championship next season containing 6 players from a full time SL environment. Notice the teams who have partnered up to now. Hunslet, Swinton, York, Doncaster ........notice anything.

Something that they've already put in place by scrapping the U18's and U20's that have been in operation and instead just running an U19's competition. The majority of U20's who are too old for U19's in 2013 will be released, with the best players shipped out as part of these "partnerships", and no doubt the Championship clubs paying for the privilege.

| I believe a champ club can have 6 d/r and 4 loan players so thats 10 players from other clubs, but can only play 6 of the 10 in any 1 game

| There are so many horrendous things about this system that I can't even bring myself to formulate a coherent post about why I hate it so much.
Maybe I'll post later.

I know, just not sure why my 'voting feet' would take me (although it's fair to say that it most likely won't be a RL ground)

| I don't think you will ever see Leigh, Fev or Fax going down this route. They are clubs with pride and ambition and don't want to be a SL reserve side. It is totally demeaning our league but SL are getting what they want. That is a closed shop and their reserves playing in a competitive league with feeder clubs.
Any Championship club that goes down this route deserves to lose its supporters and to have their name fade into extinction. You need to fight not surrender to the greedy SL.

| Try telling that to the blinkered championship chairman who have effectively given up their identity and openly advertised that they don't ever want SL.

| A terrible system and shame on the unambitious people 'running' these clubs who have now turned them into nothing more than training teams.
I feel sorry for those clubs supporters knowing the guys that run their clubs are happy to sell them short (especially the Swinton fans who have had more bad luck than good when it comes to owners).
I suppose a easy way to 'voice' disproval is to just boycott any fixtures of those clubs where they get the money (ie Swinton, Hunslet away)hit them where it hurts - in the pocket , however I appreciate its easy for me I suppose as my interest isn't what it was but paying £20.00 to watch a batch of Leeds / Hull / Wire reserve team players is a lot of money IMHO.
The dire consequences for our club is that we will really struggle to sell these fixtures to the towns populace so the lack of ambition of these clubs will also effect the ambitious clubs in the league.
How anything that reduces the overall playing pool and is likely to have a detremental effect on people paying to watch live RL can be deemed good is beyond me.
The fact that its all secret and the RFL haven't put out any form of press release about it shows what a utter disgrace that organsisation has become.
