In all seriousness, overall a good read and the club seems to be making inroads on all fronts so well done to all involved, good to see the relationship with LSV is improving, and indications that the clubs are starting to work together. It’ll be interesting to see what happens on the community front, as previously we did have the best community department in the championship.

What a silly comment to make, Mr Freer has all but stated the club needs LSV more than the LSV needs Leigh, didn't you read it properly?

Not wishing to defend the person that has a go at most things I post, but I think you are missing the point yourself. Its a community stadium, and if Leigh Centurions wasn't playing there then surely we have a big problem of why was the stadium built in the first place. We have lost the football team, so I think losing the rugby team to then be replaced by out of town clubs serves nothing to the town of Leigh and the borough - especially if the council tax payers are still paying towards it.

Excellent statement from the club, and keeps us well and truly in the picture. On the few occasions I have heard him talk about the club etc, I have always found Keith Freer as someone that speaks a lot of sense.

However , not one to be un-neighbourly to Swinton and upon hearing that they will groundshare again with us for 2013 . How's about them taking on the same amount of friday night fixtures and let us get back to being the HOME team at our OWN ground for next Season.

Would be nice to get back to Sunday matches , obviously apart from the televised Thursday games .
This season we have bent over backwards to accomodate Swinton , maybe to some extent their Sunday matches to ensure that they got more travelling Swinton fans down to the LSV. If that last part is true , then could this not have affected our own attendances , i.e. In the long run getting more fans down for us on a Sunday rather than any other day.

Don't be fooled by last nights attendance of over 2,000 , Fax are probably one of the better fanbase who bring plenty of support to the LSV , plus add to that a top of the table clash battling for 2nd spot and as far as I know the game wasn't televised and there you have it , a slightly more swelled attendance than normal for a friday night game.

Are you trying to say that last night's game was a 'nothing' game? Try telling that to anyone who was there.

Yes the fact that's there no P & R does enter into the equation but it's not the sole reason.

Personally I enjoy the spectacle of a rugby league game regardless of the 'bigger picture'. I wish we still had P & R but the lack of it does not alter how much pride, passion and effort the lads put into each and every game nor does it take anything away from my enjoyment of the game.

There is a few posters on here that seem to constantly post negative comments about the very competition we are playing in. The favourite catch phrase at the moment is "what's the point ? the games are just a bunch of friendlies". If they are talking to others in this frame of mind then they are actually doing the club no favours.

Ask my missus if I think it was a nothing game. Had to listen to it ont wireless and knock two glasses of wine over jumping up when we scored. Like being told to calm down even less than not being able to get to the game.
