| DB, KP, KC, the North Stand & West Stand all have some thing in common - we all want the team to do well and get back into SL. Everyone is frustrated by the poor start but nobody benefits from all this bitching - we need to give KP our support and hope he can turn it around. Leigh 22 Fev 20.

| Jukes was also made to tell micky that he did not want him as a player and that Cunningham son was his replacement when really he wanted micky to stay it’s took this bust up and someone to get a pair of balls to bring micky back and tell Cunningham where to go so well in for that KP

If juksey hadn't got the strength to say no to Cunningham then maybe it's good he's not there any more because if ur going to fail fail on ur own decisions and not someone else's,

With all Monty says which makes sense, and reading between the lines after listening to Derek's phone call where he says Cunningham is now strictly Head of Rugby - which implies he was interfering with other things. Are we safe to say, the Cunningham Effect was responsible for letting last years players go (inc. talisman Ridyard) and this years poor results?
If so, why is Cunningham still employed. Money, (is he on a stupid contract?) or lack of courage to let him go?
You could also argue Jukes could have gone upstairs with a fresh coach being supported by Jukes' experience at the club.

Jukes was 100% behind getting rid of the likes of Riddy, Hopkins etc. Not a single player left from the team that Rowley built.
Derek didnt even know Riddy had been shunted out on loan last season.

Over to you Monty...
But, if accurate Draexnael, for what reason did DB convince Jukes to stay -- last year post relegation -- when he apparently submitted his resignation?

That was, arguably, the worst decision of all, last season. In that we loaned him out to one of our 'relegation' opponents, whose improvement in form 'coincided' with his arrival there.

Jukes and riddy had a disagreement and riddy vowed never to play for him again he went to Cunningham and told him this but Cunningham had just got his feet under the table then so really did not have a say in the matter. As for Derek not knowing about him going Huddersfield is utter nonsense

Yep, not the quickest but Riddy could manage a game, took us round the park well. We have nothing like that now, no-one takes on the line to make that small gap. Drinkwater was positively backwards in never going to the game line.
