After calming down a little bit I thought I would put what I really thought of last night/ the season. Last night the effort was not there, the coaching staff and players can say what they like but there was no fire in belly's except from maybe 5 minutes in the 2nd half.

That team that was out there last night is good enough to stay up and is good enough to go to Warrington and get a result ( look at when they came to our place). I'm not buying this "it doesn't matter until the 8s", every game matters in rugby league especially when your fans/Derek are paying your wages.

For the first time this season I really am concerned we will go down and we deserve that at the minute. Is it too late to sack Jukes? Will Derek's loyalty potentially send us down? If last night is all we have left in the tank then we are doomed as i think the top 2/3 in the championship would have beat us last night.

Our last three defeats have come against the teams who are almost certain to be in the Middle 8's with us. Two of those defeats - against Warrington and Widnes - have been comprehensive, and embarrassing. It's worth remembering that those three games have been against teams who have been struggling all season - that's why they are in the bottom four with us.

I don't hold with the theory that we are 'saving' ourselves, or simply waiting, for the Middle 8's. A lot of this game is about confidence, and ours mysteriously evaporated in the second half at Wakefield, all those months ago. The same coaching team were in charge for those games against Saints, Warrington and Huddersfield, that we won convincingly. It's too late to change them now.

We simply have to show some form in our next two games, or I really fear the worst in the '8's', even against the four Championship sides.

I remember after the Wigan game there was a revival and we would finish in top 8 a lot of people on here are deluded and need to take the blinkers off we are just not quite good enough for the division simple as that

Was always going to be a tough one Wire still an outside chance of top 8s and wanting revenge for defeat at LSV. Again puzzled why we play a forward at centre. Move a winger in and put Hampshire on wing or Brown to centre and McNally at FB.
Any thoughts on Mortimer and Langi, should Mortimer be at 9 so we can retain Josh and Ben in halves?

My comments were in response to those posts and nothing else. You refer to "it" not "them".

Is anyone really surprised at the defeat, with the team that was selected? We should probably expect even more positional changes in the remaining 2 league games as the coaching team continue their experiments - AKA analysis paralysis.

A simple example; for what reason have Dawson and Higson changed wings, last year and early this, they were doing great on the opposite side? And no sign of Hampshire after a cracking game against Wigan - is he injured? plus many more head-scratchers!
