AGREED...our best 2 players v Wigan were Riddy & Ryan.

Well must admit this season up until the Wigan game I thought Parker had had some average games and some dire.

He gave everything last Friday. Maybe our lads performance at Fax will actually turn our season around.

Before the season started we fans thought we would be the team to beat. Pre season was spoiled by the weather then a dismal performance at Fev average performances from then on but just enough till we played Sheffield then another shocker then just enough till Fax.

Against Wigan every player tried and for me some had their best games of the season.

Goulden Aspinwall AJ and Coyle to come back yet.

We could still come good and I hope it starts on Sunday.

We moved the ball on Friday and made the defence think. That was a pleasant change from the suicidal inside ball whilst the reception batters you strategy we have used, maybe our forwards are not designed for that physically

Batley are doing really well, 2nd in the league, this will be a close one, if we play like we did Friday we can win it.
Hopefully we will see a good followinbg from Batley while they are flying high and the crowd will be what we budgeted for or even more.
Please though can we make the atmostphere like Friday because this do

Batley to win by 12.......a different team this year with added pace and power....leigh dont seem to be playing as a unit.

If the crowd get behind the lads and inspire them to move the football and play with confidence on the back of a spirited performance at Wigan i think we can nick this one. 28-22 Leigh.

The Bullfrogs fans seem to be getting above their station , and need to be brought down a peg or two , they will be crowing like the Fax fans next , Cmon Leythers show them we are LEIGH , and we NEVER yield , put them to the Sword .

I think last week will have taken too much out of the dogs and will result in a very close game.

I'm really confused though, please don't shoot be down I don't mean to troll here, but didn't the pie-eaters put 60 points past you last week, 24 of them were scored within the first 14 minutes according to Sky sports (however it is rarely accurate)? Surely the game was done just 14 minutes in and Wigan had done what they had to do and eased off, (especially as you are there partner club). I wasn't there so cannot judge, but how can this be classed as a good performance?

Wigan didn't ease off at all and 3 trys they got shouldn't of stood (2 from forward passes and 1 from a offside position).............did it mention we had 3 or 4 chalked off.
We did well and they've beaten SL teams by more than that.

and what about the 60 points halifax put past you.......i bet that was touch and go until the last 20 and down to more disallowed tries and cheating referees lol

Halifax was a birthday present for Rhino, he hadn't beaten us before for Fax and he is off to Cas so I think it was a nice gesture on our part.

Well I was there and for the first 75minutes quite frankly the officials never put a foot wrong and Fax played some superb stuff.

Last 5 minutes however showed what an unpredictable side I watch' as we completely dominated wore them down and scored the best try of the game.

Leigh have now played 15 games this season' including 2 friendlies and have already lost 4 including the Wigan game of course.

Sundays game might be the one which makes or breaks our season'

but of course being a "twinned club" we might have one contracted Wigan player in our side so who knows ?

Karl Harrison will not be going to Castleford.....you clearly dont know the bloke, nor has he got 'Cas' in the blood as they are insisting on. Castleford will be a second tier club within a year or two so why would he even want to go there even if they wanted him which they dont....Has kear won at Leigh yet ?? not sure he has...so will he be getting a present too ? personally I think the titanic battle with Giants may have taken a lot out of Batley, and Leigh should be a bit better with extra rest after their game of Touch and pass with wigan
