i get the impression you are far than impressed with our current coach's tactics Charlie ?

We have said the same my friend? It fools no one and Rowley seems unable to respond to the opposition's coach tactics other than the telegraphed inside ball.

My nephew's Under 11's side can soak up that. Powell and Aston have proved that both their sides will destroy us at will every day of the week with an astute coached side vs a Leigh side unable to variate from the standard game plan week in week out.

its not a one man team . they won you moaning gits some people are never satisfied . would love vto see some of you moaners have a go.

Too many people here who just dont want to see the bad in the team. With the team we have we should be leathering teams like workington and swinton but we are not. We have players like beswick, penky, aspinwall, riddy, littler, hopkins who are all top class.

BUT some players at the moment are not pulling their wait. we seem like we just want to go through the forwards all the time instead of swinging it out wide when it is on. As stated higher in the thread we hit the front man 3 or 4 times and Mcnally who was the back man was going mad because he had a walk in. In my opinion we are missing a creative 7 which hopefully coyle sorts out.
However, all you fans on here who are saying we won how cant you be satisfied etc. The performances at the moment arent enough for fans to come back. Walking from the ground theres a negative atmosphere. Fans saying it aint good enough but then i get on here and fans are slating fans for saying exactly what everyone else thinks. This year we have been poor up to now and i fear for us at Fax.

To be fair, the leagues been watered down a bit because of the increase in teams and some of the games we've played lack any intensity. We win these matches comfortably and by not getting out of third gear. The crowds been flat and the stadiums lacking in atmosphere.

Its the old chicken and egg scenario - fans want 80 mins of champagne rugby from the players to cheer but the players will say cheer and sing for us and it'll raise our game.

Two wins over Easter more than what most achieved over the weekend. There are no easy games in this division. Just be happy with the 6 points.

some folk just wouldnot be happy even if we won the league,northern rail and challenge cup. lets all get behind these great bunch of lads and support them instead of pulling them down. if the team folds due to lack of support who will you moan about then?

BBA its just our individual opinions on this Forum , you will find very few posters on here who are not Leythers through and through , its not moaning , just opinions and discussions ,Charlie knows .

I think most of us who post on here do. I follow them home and away and have done for 50 plus years and will do till I am no longer here.

When the players make bad errors why shouldn't we say so ? I sometimes criticise our Boards decisions and sometimes the coaching staff but at the end of the day I am a 100% Leyther who will always support our side.

Btw I doubt you would find any critic of yesterdays performance who is not the same as me in our affinity to our club.

We went yesterday and from what i saw Leigh just did enough to get us a win, nothing special. It does ask the question though if we can get our heads together for the upcoming Halifax, Fev and Batley games.

I dont think we are getting brassed off , its just discussing the teams performance , as i have said we won , 3 points ,scored 42 points ,every teams fans give their opinions on these Forums , to try to make improvements , well maybe not Wigans .

Some people weren't ever planning on going anyway and just fish about for any excuse why they didn't go

I went on Friday but didn't go to the Worky match but as I said to Fred today I'm a United fan as well , and as he said " If I'd known then what I know now I possibly would have "

As for the teams tactics ? , whilst I'm not a fan of the drive drive inside ball style that we revert to I'm not sure it's all down to PR , we have a couple of generals / senior players on the pitch who call the shots once they're over the touchline , and if that's what it takes to win then so be it . 1st half v Barra = dire , 2nd half = a different class , v Swinetown = a grind throughout and a bit dull yet got the win , and v Worky was a comfortable win

What I hope will be addressed which I'm sure will be against stronger opposition like Fax is leaking tries late on as we've done in the last 3 home(ish) games .

If you want to see the ball flung about like a hot spud then the U20's is the place to be
