| I know you wouldn't have a go mate. And the cheerleaders issue highlights what's wrong if you ask me. Just that little bit of negativity is like a cancer through the town. It's worse for the club than the performance on sunday. Before games and at half time, that pitch should have cheerleaders and kids playing rugby all over the shop and those kids should be treated as well as the VIPs at the game.

It's alright discussing the issues with 'real people' provided they are the ones responsible for the issue, I don't think AT or IM were the ones telling the Cheerleaders to keep off the pitch.'"
No but they do represent the organisation that asked them to attend , as for what happened , ' Dave ' is going to tell us , hopefully

I don't think it would be a smart move for Dave to adopt the role of LSV "spokesman" its fact that the LSV management team "monitor" this board. In the past stewards have been disciplined for using this board for freedom of speech. Its not fair to blame the stewards, the instructions their given and the manner in which they carry them out is simply passed down from the LSV Managment (who i personally believe couldn't run a bath)

| Well LISA should change it's name to LISPFRA ( Leigh Independant
Supporters Player Fund Raising Association) because it's misleading some of it's members now.

Or perhaps LISA should have a Fund-Raising Committee? and specific meetings identified as having a focus on fund raising??

Who wanted to ask about stewarding at a LISA meeting?? However I do recall Arthur Thomas relaying a situation about an unfortunate supporter who collapsed at the match and club representitives calling for the club Doctor who by chance was smack bang in vicinity of the area !! A decision which allegedly contravined LSV procedures
I mean come on, WTF has that got to do with LISA??
TBF though I did have a burning question for Arthur, a real beef of mine about people who are still gaining admittance to matches for free but then I reminded myself that it was a LISA meeting and therefore hardly the time and place....

It certainly is a free forum and I agree with most of what your saying. LISA meetings should predominantly be about raising money. Fund raising Idea's were aired and discussed between members the other night long after Ian and Arthur had departed including an excellent one that suggested an incremental £10k per annum could be raised,if fully supported.
This is what LISA meetings should be all about no question but as I have previously stated unfortunately work and family commitments dictate I can not offer anything other to LISA over and above my relatively small financial contribution.
The other thing to bear in mind is that LISA = Lynda (almost) entirely in essence. That's it unfortunately. She can not do it single handly...
As for the meeting 'Visitors'. I do agree that a small Q&A session may lessen LISA's true focus to some.TBH I am not particually bothred about any Q&A session. I do feel however that a club rep should also show up to collect a bi monthly donation from an 'independant' organisation that has raised a substantial amount of money over time. It can be anyone from Arthur Thomas, Dave Bradshaw, Phil Coffey, Keith Freer, Allan Rowley, Paul Rowley etc etc it does not matter who.
No more than one LISA meeting per annum each. IMO hardly an unreasonable request given what is offered over to Leigh in return.
There you go, that is just me also spouting my view.

| Well said. It will mean I can stay in Salford more entertaining the locals about being a true gentleman and explaining the finer rules of etiquette and decent conversation when in polite society.
More importantly it will help our chairperson too.

Missed this yesterday,
Strange how no-body says that when I'm sponsoring a walker, bungee jump, or a bike ride.

That's more or less what I've been trying to say, but some just get all defensive instead of reading what's written.
