Watched the game back now and Leigh thoroughly deserved the win overall.
Rugby-wise, Fax defended well, especially first half - and their tactics were clever, making Leigh attack from very deep most of the time.
Rugby-wise from Leigh; kept at it and showed a dogged determination to win. Couldn't play their usual game but found a way to win even so.
Regarding all the other "stuff", when the match was slipping away from Fax, they resorted to the niggly play. Leigh responded and the rest is history. The brawl was ridiculous but it was inevitable.
I can understand Rowley's frustrations too, especially with the refs, but that isn't going to change anytime soon so you just have to get on with it.

Iggy I've been saying this for a couple of years now about Tyrer,I'm glad someone else can see what he is like,I was getting worried it was just me  .The guy is a chief wind up merchant and S**t stirrer, as for Bracek another guy who just loves to cause aggro , but I'm told both him and Jamie Acton have issues off field anyway. |

Charlie mate. You were lucky we missed a couple of conversions. Lucky that you weren't nilled at half time, remember that forward pass? Lucky that the ref chose to send three Fax players from the pitch as opposed to two Gobblers following the brawl. How he cane up with that one is a mystery to me! Other than that no luck at all! ![]()
Pete it's always great to see you ,hope to see you at Blackpool as well,I'm sorry you were abused in the Car Park ,unfortunately it sometimes happens,getting back to the game ,the Ref sent 2 of our players off ,one for an alleged head Butt and Acton for his part in the brawl,and sin binned Haggerty for retaliation, he sent Bracek and Tyrer off for their part in the brawl and Cahalane for clouting Haggerty,I hope that clears it up?
As for the game let's just agree to disagree it's easier.

Barty, Blackpool and it's surrounding areas has some very nice places,every Beautiful City in the world has its unpleasant spots.I agree about Blackpool in the Town Centre and would never go there,I love Ribby Hall very relaxing there for Fishing and Horse Riding, try a round of Golf if you play at the De Vere Village on Park Drive,a meal at the G - Casino very good a reasonably priced .In a couple of weeks Leigh play London which has its dumps ,but you find some very nice places to go and stay ,it's just a matter of finding them. |
