Was there tonight, they simply do not care nor give a crap, no fight, no passion, no attempt of a comeback despite playing downhill in the second half

Some of those players are stealing money at Widnes, Allen and Kavanagh to name two who were simply dire, in fact what summed it up was both of them went for Cockaynes head in a challenge, cockayne ducked, both missed and clattered into one another while Cockayne scored

Even Danny Hulme was dire who everyone has been raving about, he scored 2 i think tries but cost tries at the other end either by dropping bombs and grubbers and a woeful attempt of a one on one tackle on Saxton

The only postive thing was the away support, which was excellent for a weds night game, something which will be missed when they go up

Very disappointed in Widnes, thought they would give us a game and i actually thought we might come up short, how wrong i was

I cant see them doing much on the last day of season based on that either so i wouldnt be relying on that factor

Would rather have a team in our division that cares now, a Swinton or a Keighley, someone that will have a go for 80 mins, not decide to throw ball around with 5 mins to go and nothing to play for

Similar thing happened when we battered them in the league at the LSV when (I think) Leuleui and I'Anson tied themselves up in knots trying to tackle Ridyard, who just waltzed past them and stuck the ball down over the line.

A shame we cant kick either, Finny hit all the difficult ones but missed 3 relatively easy ones

Well glad i did not go the game Fev fan, as i ashamed to get beat with no effort.Suppose to be contracts mentioned this week and i can not believe we are not looking at Fev or Leigh players.But i feel Betts is a crap coach and needs to be replaced to assistant.If i was Varks or Tyrer i be thinking why Leuluai,Coyle and Allen have contracts as they are crap.The dressing room must be awful, and Grant Gore in the reserves has been playing very well at scrumhalf.Then we sign James Coyle who has always robbed Widnes of money.I want players with pride in the shirt and the fans do not deserve this crap.No team spirit,motivation,desire or heart.I have written our season off and rather stick all our youngsters in our last game.

Fev gave there most polished performance of the season so far, but Widnes were dire and it shows the whole licence system up for the sham it is were rewarding shiiiite and will never beat the Aussies again. Best dropped a bollok by announcing to the whole world that Leigh were the best team in this div last week not a wise move with us to play twice. Leigh may well be the best team but you can bet Denis did Darryls team talk for him

Be careful, give it 6 months and Betts will be claiming it as a coaching triumph after finally inspiring [isomeone[/i to play well

Featherstone had the chance to apply for a franchise/licence but didn't so you can't complain about Widnes wining first prize when you don't buy a ticket

well, yes you can Fred. Fev would not have met the criteria for SL under the current perameters set by the RFL, so there was little point in spending time, money and effort that could be re-directed elsewhere on a pointless exercise. I couldn't understand why Dez bothered with it at Barrow. It was never going to work.
It's the whole ethos of the game that supports mediocrity above performance that is wrong in the game, but you know that Fred.
Fax should have gone up last term, but I'm an avid supporter of the P&R option for the winning Grand finalist.
The game has neither transparency or integrity in my opinion at the mo Fred.
We all knew widnes we're a "shoe in", and so it transpired. The RFL/SL are able to more or less do as they like.
But either way, a result as definate as last night at this end of the season is encouraging to say the least - regardless of the politics.
