Don't know about it being the first signing, must have forgotten about Brierley.

Brierley was more of a re-signing to be honest. Don't particularly rate Barlow.

It was a case of watching the opposition taking penalties with the occasional game of rugby league in and amonst.

He was at the game today... Can't read too much into it I suppose considering he's still a Halifax player but he wasn't with their team of officials and non-playing staff.

Barlow posted on Fev FB group earlier this afternoon saying not signed anywhere, will decide his future at end of season and loves it at fev!

I hope we sign him, add some biff, to our pack. He loves it at fev, not as much as spencer loves it with us, now there is one player i would love us to sign, tell me why has no sl club has snapped him up if wigan aint picking him. Is there a better forward in our league than spencer?

Spennner gives his all for Leigh Centurions and does not just lift our team he lifts the fans as well.

He is a fab player I just hope we can keep him. I would put a few quid into making sure he was a contracted Leyther next season.

Shame a few blinkered ex fans don't come and watch this lad wearing OUR shirt they don't know what they are missing.

Having said that I am astonished at the team spirit in our side it is something worth paying the entrance fee for.
