Quote: sex on legs "Everything worth doing is problematic, if the take up on the scheme is huge then I have misjudged and will hold my hand up to say I was wrong and congratulate those who sold the scheme to the customers so well.

Please tell me what suggestions that made money with no outlay have been knocked back?'"

Yes everything is problematic , and sometimes those problems aren't solvable , either because of lack of funding , lack of co operation by other organisations , lack of personel to carry them out , or quite simply a refusal to accept they are needed or will work by the people who have to sanction them

I'd rather not go into those ideas on here , maybe another time , when they have been tried

You can fail to solve problems but you should never fail to try and solve problems.

Surely if those ideas offer no risk they are worth bringing to fans attention, because we fans can then support them and enforce the change needed.

If the person ' in charge ' says no , then tell me what do you suggest happens then ?

The 'person' in charge is plural, it's the fans, it is we who are being asked to cover the cash gap - I could understand if it was still the Autocracy run by AT as he filled the cash gap.
You can't ask people to cover the void then have an individual telling you to shove your ideas if they are risk free. Detail them on here, quantify your cash projections and see if there is support - if so then LISA, as a shareholder?, should be the tool to ensure they are at least debated at board level.

Quote: Starbug "So £ 170 is too much for a ST , but £ 240 for a ST and a polo shirt isn't ?

Ok'"

I have always bought a ST but this year I have a bit more expense so would have liked the normal ST to be monthly as well as I won't be using the benefits for the Bronze

Smells of a two tier system. Those who are willing to pay more get to spread the cost, people who may struggle to find ST money all at once have to pay in full. I remember some time ago this was raised and the answer was if you let them pay monthly then some rogues may cancel their direct debts half way through the season. Apparently if you are philanthropic enough to want to pay more this won't happen. Come on Leigh get a grip.

This is a genuine question if someone was to buy into the bronze touchdown package and pay 6 months and then lose their job and have to cancel how would that be sorted out?

Hmm, 80 quid ST or Bronze package. Not being sarcastic at all genuinely considering this. But one thing I'm wondering, why do we pay for 11 months when the season only lasts around half of that? I'm asking this as a genuine question not to cause arguments.

So that the club has a level of income even when there aren't any fixtures.

Asked the widnesians, about 4000 of them are paying monthly for 12 months

Those that may struggle to find ST money all at once can choose to buy individual tickets , potentially at £ 1 less than the season just ended , in fact that may well be the option I choose

All any club can do is give it's customers reasonable options , to me the club has done that , surely within what is on offer there is something that suits just about everybody

I go to games with a couple of friends who have bought a ST and reserved their seats so the only way I could sit with them was to buy a ST too but as the normal ST wasn't available monthly had to go for the Bronze option as paying £20 a month was better option than £170 up front even though I won't be taking full advantage of the perks that go with it

They didn't have to reserve a seat , it's not like we are full most weeks , or maybe they are trying to tell you something icon_wink.gif
