| I still think fridays 7.30 or 8pm kick of will be best.
As for competing with SL clubs on tv,surely watching another rl club on tv wouldn't put off people attending our games.

| Quote: DemonUK "The season ticket planning was delayed (because they were not even sure we had a club) wasn't it. So you can't really blame them for that. The crowd was disappointing Sunday yet it was still the second highest in the NRC on Sunday. If you think we have problems look at the Broncos crowd for their SL game at the weekend....1900.
edit
I haven't been critical of PR's appointment though
We have what we have, I am bringing a BoB, if we all did the same then we wouldn't be seeing 1300 gates would we.

Charlie I have stated you can keep that seat but the punch n Judy offer is too good to turn down, especially with us not playing on Sundays

As for london I really don't care about them.
True we didn't know were we were regarding a club but why not more reason to get cash in by saying its the same as last season?
But instead they have gambled on people paying and turning up ,but like I said once people get out of the habit its hard for them to get back
And now we are tucked away on some unknown satillite station with even less exposure on a thursday.
Melt down for our league this season'"
My only concern is that break even is 2000, so if we are 600 light then that means £6000+vat we have to be over elsewhere in income, don't forget the board have stated no cash will be ploughed in by them.
Last years ticket was too cheap and the neutral figure against last year will be much lower due to increased admission costs, this year is about survival by generating income and controling costs - I hate to say this but the RL is a distant second, although it would be nice to have a good year again.

It was said at the last Fans Forum that 1,800 is the break even - an average of 2,000 would see most (if not all?) of the debt paid off by the end of the season and 2,200 would see us make a certain amount of profit.
Would be interesting to see the difference in season ticket income between this season and last as I there was a minimum £40 increase for adults, although I actually paid £85 more than 2011 when bearing in mind buying for the West Stand and an extra kids one. I'm sure I'm not the only one as well.

| For this 2000 or 1800 speccies to break even etc. Is this based on what % Adults - kids ratio? Surely as an extreme example we got 1800 kids and 200 adults we would be struggling.
Also the attendance of 1400 at Hunslet - did that include ST's that didn't go?

Good question - I'll find out. I thought that only clicks of the turnstile counted, but could well be wrong!

I have missed something here? What debt, we took the RFL money early to pay off Taxman - what other debt?
If 1800 is break even, as LL states it depends on mix and, as we have already discussed, it seems the policy was to spread income rather than sell season tickets cheaply - income is king how we achieve it doesn't really matter this year.

Maybe debt isn't the right way to phrase it then (although I'm sure that was the phrase used at the Fans Forum), but either way there's a £90k deficit because of taking the RFL money early to pay HMRC.
The mix of adults/concessions etc is generally pretty consistent so I'm sure that will have been taken in to account.

Unless of course, you are willing to devote some of your undoubted knowledge, expertise and time to boosting our crowds to 12,000, raking in much needed sponsorship and saving the day - without needing to talk to anyone else, in achieving that?
I am in awe of your honesty in the matter, but I wouldn't advise the former. I don't think the latter is achievable but let me know after the Wheeltappers entertainment group has met to discuss strategy.
