| To me, a change of coach really won't make any difference whatsoever. I'd like to say you can't polish a turd, but the turd had it's day against Sheffield last week so why can't it turn up more often than not?

| Quote WOLRAB="WOLRAB"paul rowley to do the honourable thing and resign, don't hold your breath folks, he'll cling on for ever, and no matt your not the only one pal who's woried about donny, and as for one of the players laughing, well fook you whoever you were, we travelled all that ay to watch compkete and utter sh*t and a total disregard for us loyal fans. go now rowley please just go.'"
I'm not defending the guy in any way shape or form here but who would possibly take control of the first team if Rowley left? Barrow got a quick fix as Deakin could be in the job next year if he proves himself but anyone who comes knows that they are only going to get turfed out at the end of the year.

| Quote Starbug="Starbug"I was chatting to some Barrow fans in the pub before the match they seemed amazed that we were even considering relegation
I'll bet they had changed their minds after the game
'"
I think a lot of other RL fans are of the same opinion in that they can't understand how some thought we could go down.
Heard it a lot myself over the last few weeks "You'll never go down, you'll easily claw it back" etc, etc.
I even believed it for a while, no doubt in my mind now that unless we get new players in we are down as I can't see the points coming in that will compete with Gatesheads tally.
And I know its old fashioned and a tad arrogant, but just how bad is that - thumped by 74 points by Barrow and worried about getting less points than Gateshead, we're[i really [/ioff the rails.

Someone who would like to work as Ians assistant for the next few years who may have ambitions of his own to later become a coach himself. Paul Rowley has shown nothing whatsoever that he can be a coach with his selections, substitutions, attacking options or defence patterns.

| there are some numb nuts on here, put back in charge the plonker who signed the players who put us in this mess and totally lost the plot and admitted it to the players??
ask any coach to come in now ? what go to one and say please come and keep us up but you will not be in a job after because we have signed a coach for next year? Im sure they will be lining up to apply or take the job.
As for getting new players in just shows how much you know about he game you watch, the signing deadline past last friday
Knew the numpties would come flooding back when we lost typical Leigh fans.

| What's Norman Turley up to these days? He'd be a good replacement for the rest of the season. Players have responded well to Norman in a similar situation in the past.

No you're not Matt, I was saying yesterday about how everyone seems to have taken a Donny win as a given, but from where I'm sitting I think we need to be seriously worried about it.

Does everything zip over your head at a fine speed
My observeration that we needed to sign some players was more along the lines of admitting we are bollocked - down, a touch of sarcasm to a admitance that we have been caught out this season in our consistant continous decline of massively underperforming on & off the pitch.
I presumbe the "numpties flooding back when Leigh lose" have actually been here all season, that is unless you think the table is lieing and Leigh are in a false position.
