Sorry I disagree. Went to LSV to buy tickets yesterday, was told West stand sold out bar one block, which today was the fullest of the whole stand, same on RFL site, 10 tickets were left in the North stand and we paid £30 (which I believe was the top price in the ground) for the East stand (which looked pretty full to me) - someone somewhere got it wrong - or three coaches where stuck on the M62!!

Ticket office would not know how many tickets were sold for north stand as most of them were sold at RFL HQ. I tried to get north stand tickets at LSV but was told LSV were only allocated the 2 end blocks in north stand. In fact not many areas in the stands were available to people going to the LSV ticket office.

its quite simple, buy your tickets earlier ffs

the empty seats in the west stand were mainly RFL reserved ones (the signs on the seats were clearly visible) - it was the same for the Rail cup final, the RFL saving seats for their sponsors.

Proof in the pudding then.

If you look at the west stand on TV it looks half empty.

It was , partly because they were the most expensive seats , the RFL sold those seats and the 2 central blocks were RFL sponsors seats , who it would seem , didn't bother turning up , then again , neither did I , so I suppose I shouldn't be critical

As the seats were sold/given away then they would count in the final attendance figures (those are the RFL 'rules' it would seem on adding up attendance figures).

Correct, Fred. Every RFL sponsor is allocated a number of tickets and they're included in the attendance regardless of whether or not they turn up.

I asked for that block just to the side of the dug outs when ordering tickets when they 1st went on sale and was told couldn't have that block so went in East stand instead ,was very dismayed to see all those empty seats that the cameras were facing pity they couldn't show East although behind the sticks looked good on tv

I feel i must disagree with you there , it looked at least Half Full to me , this being the case as we are all going to see what is next, i feel we must go on and try to find a reasonale solution to thie heady problem ,some may feel it is only time but i feel we need to seek advice .
