Wow, Leigh actually 'lose a game' by more than 2 points (1st time this season) and some folk are quite excited by this. Where where you lot on our 19 game unbeaten run (including beating 3 SL sides)

After checking Jetblacks recent post,i'm surprised he/she isn't banned.

Wasn'the one if Mickys best games either. It was like the beginning of the season all over again. Penalties, stupid ones at that, missed tackles everywhere you looked and more handling errors than usual. Guess they were half way to Portugal.

Just got in, up again in 3 and a half hours. Not sure it was worth it for that performance



Poor discipline, too many unforced errors and some shocking performances all over the park.

It looked like a game too far, for virtually the entire team.

Still, nothing really at stake, apart from bragging rights and, at the end of the day, it's been 'mission accomplished' - spectacularly!

Smith needs to show some desire to play for Leigh. He really does. He needs to knuckle down in training and work harder. If he did he would not gain 2 extra stones of fat whilst operating in a FT environment.

It was a game to far for us. We missed Paterson badly, lost Hoods ability to keep the ruck area at a good speed when Higham was spelled and we missed McNally linking into the attack and threatening.

That said Danny Tickle was impressive and did his job and I thought Willie Tonga had his best game in a Leigh shirt.

We did look jaded but its no wonder. Job was done 2 weeks ago. However as a team we do need to wise up when we go to places like Headingly in SL. That will be addressed.

Overall it has been a truly splendid season of Rugby League and I have enjoyed it immensely.
