Hill & Sims were the boss props today with Hock not too far behind, Moi Moi was disappointing today perhaps he is a Championship player. Despite some classy movement from the backs, Beswick was my MOM.

Hock had another good game, all the forwards tired for both clubs and (it was a hot day and fairly fast flowing game!).
FFM dropped the odd ball but also took 3 defenders with him as usual on each run.
Let's not forget who we played and the wealth and quality of players Wire have and can atttact!

You were pleased with hock today? That's a bit of a puzzler. Aside from one or two hit ups he went missing in the second half.

Did we watch th same game hock was the only one who matched up up the middle thought he outplayed Westwood and Simms! Hill was very good today and that asotasi had he's first good game in 2 year! As for sammy Barlow if he could commit he would walk into our team super league or championship! I wouldn't change a thing 1-7 but today showed we aren't there in the forwards all good players in their own right but a big step up! I've said it all year but our defence around the ptb is shocking! Dwyer attacked the whole at a defender all day! How many scoot try's have we allowed around there all year? Wakes found us out early on in the game and wire did last night! Work too do but a massive effort yesterday and Warrington aren't as bad a team as their fans like too make out!!

Don't think it's fair comparing our pack to Warrington's...one of the best in Super League !!! If only their backs were 'half as good' ! icon_biggrin.gif
Though Kevin Penny is superb at Flying !!!!!!

Thanks Alan, my question of where does that leave Sam was more to do with a some posters on this topic leaving him out of their team for Super League.
Incidentally Sam was at Keighley yesterday for our match v Broncos.
Spooky

Obviously likes his RL - probably went to watch the Broncos then! icon_wink.gif

Seriously, a bit disappointing he wasn't at Warrington, supporting his mates. I hope he comes back soon - as I believe we are missing him.

See you in the '8's' - and the way you are scoring lately, we would probably need to be worried about that prospect.

Have to admit I wasn't a fan of Hock and thought signing him was a mistake, his first few games I was disappointed in him. Since Whitehaven however he's been playing brilliantly all seems to have clicked for him and he's really showing his skill now.

The game was a bit too quick for Fui yesterday, he's still one of the best in The Championship and showed against Wakefield he's still able to handle himself against the slower Super League teams. Think that's probably about his level now, mid table SL, though to be fair I think that's probably about the level of the team as a whole.

That sounds better. Obviously, paranoid 'Fax fans have him popping up all over the 'Dark Side'! icon_wink.gif

It's not paranoia, Sam was at the Halifax game, we kicked off at 6.00 don't know what time you kicked off.
With respect stop thinking that the world is against you.
SAM WAS AT THE FAX GAME. He was trying desperately to be noticed on probably the hottest day of the year he was dressed in a Parker jacket with a fur lined hood.
SAM WAS AT THE FAX GAME, unless he has a double.
