Top player and a loss for us, he had a suspected broken hand after the Keighley game didn't he? Hope he's back soon. Still I've always felt sorry for Johnny Pownall, a really good player who's done well for us in the past but can't get in the team for Higson & Kay, guess now's his time to show us what he can do.

Pownall wont let us down good player and scores great trys lookin forward to see.in if hes improved any due to full time enviroment

Pownall certainly looked very sharp in the pre season when he played. I also thought Pitman (especially in defense) and the young lad who scored in our second pre season game (sorry can't remember his name) could also be in the frame.

Corey lee it was, scored the hat-trick against north wales but Pownall will get nod and more than capable of filling in for Higson,

This could be an ideal opportunity for Ben Reynolds to show just how versatile he is.

Pownall, Pitman, Reynolds, Lee (thx egg), all would do for me.
What a squad we have, when one player goes down and we can all make a case for 4 different players stepping up to fill the spot.

It's got to be JP, hasn't it ?, as Fred and others have said he is a proven try scorer and some of the trys he has scored have taken some scoring.

Corey Lee was fantastically quick & a real talent but still very small, don't think he's quite ready for Halifax away just yet. Fantastic prospect for a few years’ time though!
