| Well as I am lucky enough at my age to have a couple of grand spare in the bank doing nowt, I have gone for the £40+ option as a fans owned Leigh rugby is totally something I can buy into. Also,
Would I hand that over as lump sum to Sporting Club Leigh as it is currently set up? Emphatically no as it would be soaked up in a Mr Freer and Mr Coffey's budget shortfalls every year in debt.
Alternatiely would I use it as an 'investment' in a new fans owned club to secure a new future of the club I love and give me a sense of 'ownership? Very much so.
And finally, did I pay £18 to be ripped off and fleeced against an amateur side in the cup ? Did I balls..

Good afternoon Harold , hope you are well ?Its good to see you are ready and willing to support our Club , as i also am  , there is however only one L in Caroli , im one of the Napoli Carolis , being Charles Eusabio Peroni Caroli .
I agree with your statements totally except maybe the £18.00 rip off part , though i respect your views , and opinions ,if we all thought the same way , it would be a very Boring life , and i never think of myself as a Sheep ,keep your Posts and views coming , its always good to hear from you ,Charlie .  .

Depends which way you look at it. A lot of those will be people revisiting the same thread to contribute or see the results.
Another way to look at it is 82% of leythers would get involved.

To be fair Bart I voted no because at this moment in time I cannot afford the outlay, I do contribute to LISA monthly though. As for other teams fans voting that is plain wrong if they had. Hope it's a success though. |

Fair point. I wouldn't have been able to contribute 12 months ago with a baby on the way and the incertainty over my job with virgin trains, just circumstance for different people at different times, we all love the club the same.

Maybe able to in the future mate, the Daughters at uni at the moment and we help her out a lot, hope all goes well with the idea though.

But 1500 people havnt voted on the poll. I think the forum is where you will get more people that are hard core fans willing to donate than anywhere.
This negative can't do attitude has to go.
500 people is the figure I keep working on. I think that's a realistic figure.
500 people contributing £20 PCM is £120,000
