| You get the Avignon game free if you purchase before Saturday and the NRC match is all to pay

| So the only reason for taking up the offer of a "half season ticket" would be if you want to go the Avignon game for free? This does give it limited appeal!

| not slagging anyone off demon just making a point
if you buy a season ticket are you not pre paying?? therefor all sums when considering this offer should be done on the £14 ticket price.
Its hardly a special offer when you can do exactly the same already without having to stump up £80 in a lump sum
only my opinion of course

| Ticket price is 16 and 18. I pointed out if you regularly bought early there is no point. Official matchday ticket prices are not 14 quid. My post is based on fact not opinion.

| to be fair selling a load of season tickets isnt what the club wanted at the start of the year, they wanted a constant income. people paying before or on game day.
can see Saleys point though

| ok fact man why should you be charged at £16 a ticket for prepaying (ST Offer) When you can prepay on a game by game basis at £14.

| I think we can all agree that it is a crap offer as it can cost you exactly the same amount of money to see all the matches without the initial lump sum outlay.

| Ah but at least those who decide to get one won't have to queue for a ticket at each game.

| Ok in that case why did they bother trying to help regular fans who don't have season tickets. Might only be a tenner saving but there wasn't much moreon the full ST. They could say stuff the fans and remove the early purchase discount. No point coming back to this thread.

| Does seem a bit daft to me, but maybe the club would actually prefer people paying game by game rather than committing to the rest of the season? That's mere speculation on my part by the way as it would be a very risky strategy if we lose a couple of games etc.
Doesn't really affect me as I'm already a season ticket holder, but it's not exactly an offer to entice people to commit to the rest of the season IMHO - it's certainly not asking the earth to expect a slight discount when compared to buying game by game.

| why bother then would be my question?
When i saw the club was offering a half season ticket i was interested as i fall into the catagory of pay as you go supporter this year however i was consdering getting one for myself and the missus.
now i class myself as a die hard fan and i certainly wont be taking up this offer as there is no incentive to do so, so my question would be who is going to if i as a die hard cant see the point?
