Is our squad complete or is more needed?

I think that we have plenty of 'experience' in the pack even though a lot of them are still only 'young'ish for forwards. The likes of Hilly and Taylor have been around for a good few years now and although not that old they must now be classed as 'experienced' at championship level? Goulden, Bibey, Littler, Duffy, Gorski and even Nash are all fairly experienced either at SL or Championship level. Add in the young prospects like Nicholson, Hopkins and the likes of Thornley and I think we have a good mix of youth, talent and experience.

One thing we might lack if injuries occur is DEPTH. And I suspect maybe that is why Basil is keeping 2 Duel Reg spaces free for now. Maybe if ,for example, Duffy (god forbid) gets a bad injury then we have a DR space there to bring in a promising hooker from a SL squad. Same if we get a couple of injuries in the Props or 2nd Row.

I think our squad has a better balance than last year and if this IS the complete squad then i'm basically happy with it.

I hope you are right. There seems to be a lot of youth coming through this year, with Nicholson, Pownall and Hopkins given numbers just to name a few. I just hope it wont be a gamble that won't backfire. C'mon the Leigh!
