Why all the sarcasm. 25 organisations at £1000 a pop gets 25k into the clubs coffers. This was obviously the only option when getting £25k off one sponsor proved difficult/impossible.

Thats right. Each sponsor gives a thousand pounds and they pick out the shirts of a player for each sponsor this players shirt will have the individyual sponsors logo opposite the coat of arms. Then a main draw between the sponsors is made for the company or individual to have their logo in the middle of the shirt. Hats of to them seems to me that everyone is a winner. Oh for giving a grand I think you get a copy of the shirt and a vip bar pass or passes.

This year instead of one sponser sponsering the shirt the club have got 1000 off 25 sponsers and then a name is drawn out as the main sponser the rest will get to appear on one players shirt.

I think its a cracking idea, not many companies out there willing to fork out 25k in the current climate.

It obviously has been out to 'tender' but who is willing to shell out £25K to sponsor a team that cant go anywhere in a second tier league in a third rated sport?
Anyway it just goes to show the 'local' interest if 25 firms are willing to gamble a grand on the chance to be a sponsor, great idea in my opinion. |

The best bit is there are many new sponsors among the 25 rather than relying on the same folk who tip up year in year out.
