Is the 5 days just for field training? Because then you've got the gym work added on aswell, theres got to be a balance. Look at how we had the failed attempts in the grand final under Terzis, running out of gas maybe?

Something I suggested when we went F/T for the month of the play offs back in 2003 , the players desperate to give ' value for money ' to the sponsors for coughing up the extra overdid things in my opinion

They shouldn't be about fitness, any pro player should keep himself fit, they should be about skill sessions and play drills, weight sessions are different as they build up strength, but fitness sessions shouldn't be an issue.

Are they doing the weights themselves or as a team, if as a team have they now got somewhere to train

I can remember when IM first started skill sessions at Leigh,he got rid of the rugby ball,and worked up from passing a golf ball,to tennis ball,etc. until they got to the rugby ball,which then seemed so big they could handle it easy.

Simple idea and lets hope Ian has brought lots of other techniques back from Oz.Watching the 4 Nations over last few weeks,one thing the Aussies are head and shoulders above everyone else is dummy runners, something which Leigh are particulatrly woeful at,some of that would do me for next season.
