Watching live (can't bring myself to watch again), it looked like it was grounded before the challenge came in, and wasn't really any attempt at doing anything bar ground the ball, so didn't really need the flop.

If it had been the other way around, I'd have been annoyed at the player for turning a forced GLDO into a conceded penalty.

The player only has a split second to make that decision and Im sure for certain he could not see a clear attempt to ground the ball. I think he is more than entitled to make that tackle and has to play to the whistle.

After the incident he consulted both tj's and the in-goal tj.

He got a three wise monkeys response.

Nothing in the Higson challenge. It looked a little awkward but it was one of those that looked worse than what it was in my opinion .

The tackling though was sometimes brutal from Leigh and the overuse of energy made us very lethargic and disorganised in the defensive line at times. More efficiency required in the tackle me thinks !

Watching the replay, I don't think he gave them much chance to respond, other than to agree with him!

I have to say, with the benefit of hindsight, he/they got it right though. Isn't that often the case when you get to see the incident again?

Why did our players take exception to the incident and why did Higson go off for a Head test ?

We made far too many mistakes in vital areas , Thornley was unlucky to loose possession when he was about to touch following a terrific try scoring pass from Riddy !
Junior Sau will have nightmares thinking of his botched play the ball late in the game when we had the Vikings on the rack !
Oh well typical Leigh we’ll probably put forty on em in couple of weeks !

Leigh failing to get to Wembley is part and parcel of being a Leigh supporter unfortunately !
I’ve counted seven occasions now when I’ve seen us on the cusp of a Wembley appearance and we have succeeded only once! I hope I get the opportunity to see us at Wembley in the future as it’s like no other experience I’ve know !
