Facts are, it is well known that DB has sunk a [it load[/i of cash into Leigh Centurions year on year & based on unsecured loans.

Leigh RLFC prior to the arrival of Bratfurt have consistently had the highest average Championship attendances & even with Bratfurt are an extremely close 2nd *yes I do include Widnes* who artificially increased their average attendances to help secure a SL [iLicence [/i by literally giving away thousands of tickets to impress the RFL.

DB did go to the RFL & [iforce[/i a change in Salary Cap because a) he/we could afford it & b) it was a legal joke & potentially embarrassing to the RFL should a legal challenge be made.
It has also helped drive up quality in the Championship product & *Not just at Leigh*

Seagulls, Fev, London have F.A fans to support an increase in spending on cap, even Fax are pushing low figures but at least have a strong core fan base to build on.

Wakefield probably can't afford SL without significant loans from their Chairman, loans are part of RL unless you are Leeds, Sydney, Melbourne etc.

Circa 4,000 average gates last season says Leigh can afford it & remember [ionly[/i Bradford & Fax bring more than 100 > 200 fans to Leigh, so we do it on our own.
