We certainly dont lack effort in our team, thats for sure. Yes there has been the odd few games/blips this year but as a whole I am impressed with our season and how the lads have come along under Basil. |

Your are right it's my old team mate Mick Crehan (I think thats how you spell it). Nck name Paddy. Grew up with him on Higherfolds, played with him for Leigh Rangers ( when they first ever started off) we were 11, then together again at Leigh in the colts and then onto the Miners. He lives in Australia now and runs a junior side I think. Absolutely barking. I think I was on the field that day. It wasn't a full blown first team game or even A team if memory serves me right. |

My first thought was 'Jef Clarke' but I don't think he was here when Ken Green was playing for us. Might be wrong.
I'm sure the opposition are Salford - they used to play in red shirts with a white 'S'.
