Why do you think the person who got the club into the present mess is the person to get the club out of it?

Keith ,I realise Derek has made mistakes as well , I’m sure he will admit it , but if the players won’t play for whatever reason Derek cannot help that , Duffy was a Coach out of his depth , Derek kept faith in him because Derek is a loyal bloke , he proved that by keeping Abram and Jukes on to long .

The signing of a lot of players who were mainly Championship players couldn’t be helped , then we added blokes like McCarthey who would be playing for Swinton or Oldham now if we didn’t sign him .You ask why I think Derekis the man to get us out of the mess .?Well I can’t see anyone with the Financial clout he has , and he must learn to get rid of the old Leigh boys Club , and start afresh , it won’t be easy , but he has a good group of fans behind the Club , and some good Sponsers .

,Only joking mate. BTW - It's doing the rounds that Degsey stuck 2 fingers up to the north stand at half time. I don't know if that's true as i wasn't looking, and i didn't hear anybody say anything at the time near me. I also heard, yes heard, that Derek is ready to walk away. I also know that there is people,(I'll use the word people) with money who is worth more than Derek who could come in and keep the club stabilised, and move us forward. All speculation of course.

I would say on the basis and always have of taking SL on . He knows more than what’s being said. Simply taking SL on with yes a Champ side and less funding, would be suicidal to start with. That hasn’t changed.

As a Wakefield supporter and for many years way behind the Bulls as a RL fan you should be ashamed of this comment, he may not be everybody's cup of tea but there is no need for this comment the RL fans really rallied around your club to save it from extinction show some respect.

Whichever club entered SL to replace Toronto for 2021 was on mission impossible. I guess that being back in SL and "giving it a go" was just too much of a temptation. Rather odd if DB is thinking of walking away, as he must have expected that Leigh struggling at the bottom of the table was a strong possibility.
