The blame lies with Sky currently until they decide when they want to show SL, premier can't pick ours because it might clash!

Sky decided months ago that they're doing Thursday's and Friday's. They've even got as far as scheduling the TV game for the Thursday for the final round of the season!

Well no need to worry next season. With Promotion back Sky have decided they want The Championship again until 2021! Just shows the immediate spike in interest just by announcing Promotion & Relegation is coming back. Would like to know how much Sky are paying for the Championship, hopefully it's something and will result in a bigger share of money going to Championship Clubs.

BT Sport were rumored to be competing with SKY for the broadcasting rights which can only be a good thing for the game in general.

According to total rl premier have pulled out for 2014 so no tv games if true yippee !!!!!

Think the most watched sports on pay per view are Footie Horse Racing and RL not RU of course which is great to play but incredibly boring to watch.

Had they screened Championship games on Sunday evenings they would have made a few bob via advertising could have paid Championship clubs decent money for broadcasting rights and Championship clubs would have benefited too from attracting Sponsorship.

From a selfish point of view I'm glad i couldn't have gone any away games Monday or Tuesday night due to work .
I want to watch all our games.

How in the world would it benefit our sport if we would have had to go on a Monday night all the way to Yorkshire or Cumbria to watch a game that is reported to be a family sport but is to late to take the kids to watch because of school. So glad this didn't go ahead.

Totally agree, there are no postives what so ever as far as I can see in us playing games on a Monday or Tuesday night just so we can be televised on a channnel no one watches.

Rowley summed up the stupidity behind making part timers play on Monday nights at the last LISA meeting and Tuesday is just daft if you think people are going to turn out then. The moment sky said they were moving the Saturday game to Thursday Premier should have immediately taken Saturday evening, anyone that likes watching RL on telly on Saturday will watch it on premier, more fans would have gone to live games and Premier would have made much more money. Instead they farted around and messed everyone about and have now spat their dummy out because they've lost what they've been getting for free, well so what, it's the most exciting season since they got the rights it's entirely their loss. Hopefully Sky will come in and say "Well we'll show this season if Premier doesn’t want it."

Don't think they made much from advertising judging by the company's that were appearing on there (no disrespect intended to Down Under Leisure and the like), so might not have been worth it given the costs involved in broadcasting the game.

Some sort of weekly highlights on YouTube would be a great little project for one of the RFL media team though.
