Good idea in fairness.
Might be drawn in Andover or Middle Wallop with the Army winning through to the next round

Personnaly always preferred the draw to be done after match at a venue that has just staged a match from the previous round , with fans of the winning club in attendance

Carnegie Challenge Cup draw to reach new high
The Carnegie Challenge Cup will scale new heights on Tuesday (February 15) when two of the sport’s most familiar match officials conduct the 2011 third round draw.
Richard Silverwood, the man in the middle for the 2010 Carnegie Challenge Cup final, and Billy Thompson, who refereed the first of his two Wembley finals 40 years ago, will have a unique perspective of their home town, Huddersfield when they help decide the 18 third round ties.
The draw will take place 900 feet above sea level at the top of the Emley Moor television mast – the tallest free-standing building in Britain – and will be streamed live on the internet on the official Challenge Cup website,
www.carnegiechallengecup.co.uk from 1.30pm. The draw will also be covered by the BBC.
The third round draw will feature the 21 Co-operative Championship and Championship One clubs, French side FC Lezignan, the Army and 13 community clubs. The third round ties will be played over the weekend of March 5 and 6.

Witnesses, Steve, witnesses! Bet there aren't many, up Emley Moor transmitter - still, the reception should be good.

For me this should have 'double-header' written all over it!
"Magic Day at the LSV" - Tenner a ticket, kids for a couple of quid. Sponsored coaches for Barrow and H.D. fans, and a four way split of the profits from the gate.
Surely it makes better economic sense to staff the ground for one long day, than two regular ones - and a bigger combined gate!!
To whom it may concern - get your combined heads together and make this happen!!

Lol you need to learn to count Walt, rovers dont have 8 million fans,we have 9 million now Big Willie has signed !!!
Oh and i would love us to play you guys in the cc and i know alot of Rovers fans on the other forums think the same as apart from the old rivalries it would be another new ground visited.

Shame it's far too late in the day for them to make a good go of it.

| Common sense has prevailed eventually, they were going to be on the same day but the ground was going to be emptied and closed for a couple of hours.

| 'Health & Safety' reasons were initially cited. The local Council were worried about 'Fax Fans' health, seeing them k-o'd in the last minute, by Lock Lane!
