| Asked a lot in the North stand but noone knew apart from someone saying he looked like Oliver Wilkes.
The player concerned was on the extreme right touchline looking from the North stand when the players were running into the tackling bags in the warm up.

In your opinion, was Alsteads 'tackle' malicious or, poor technique? I was to far away to see. How many times do we see high shots in a game and yet, the offender is only put on report! Morley came with the stiffest arm tackle I've seen for years against Cas, he was not dismissed and Wire retained their 13 men. Morley was also cleared, by the discilinary! I think yesterday Mr Hicks dealt us a 'Joker' !!

More misjudged, had a good veiw of it and as soon as it happened i said he will go for that. For me Alstead has been one of our top performers this season always gives his all, and he had to shoot out of the line and nail that player else it it 3 v 1 which they most certainly would have scored off. he does it alot shooting out the line and up to yesterday never gets it wrong.

Should have been 2500 minimum on..very disappointing..."Super League? You're having a laugh..."'"
Easy for you to say, as one of the regulars who have supported Leigh home and away all my life, I feel proud of every other like minded fan and don't really concern myself with the people who turn up for the odd game once in a while. The fact that it costs £15/£16 and you need to get your ticket before the game and it poured down just before, would of put a lot off from walking from the pub to the LSV.
We again have no game on a Bank Holiday Weekend , the Fev game is now mid week and yet again no home tie in either the NRC or Challenge cup, all these effect on average attendances over a season.
The club along with the "faithful fans" do as much as they can and unfortunately the economy,no SL guaranteed if we win everything and to be honest I think a game that is not as exciting as it used to be and yes we will struggle to get the fans into the ground.
Next games will need some promotion no doubt about it, especially the mid week ones.
Anyway I enjoyed yesterdays match and as always will tell everyone who I meet this and they should get down to the next match, if they do great, I'm sure more will over the rest of the season, especially when the Sunday football finishes, only the World Cup to worry about then

| Come on..........it had been raining on and off for most of the day, certainly in Warrington it was. Pointless discussion anyway. At the end of the day it never bothered them at HP in winter. Some people will watch whatever the weather others won't, everyone is free to make their own decisions. The current state of the game is part of the cause of this general malaise....no P&R, nothing to play for, no away fans, no atmosphere (although the North Stand do their best).
You will see the consequences of this stupid system when one or both of the clubs kicked out of SL next season go into administration almost immediately
PS The weather won't affect the attendees when we reach one or both of the finals on offer...you'll see

| Put it this way IMO we will be lucky to see dave Alstead on the field of play after the Dews game for two to four games.

It must look bad if your saying that Fred, but if Thackery only got three games for that piece of thuggery against Sheffield then I think he may only get two.

Believe me - if I wasn't 3000 miles away I would be there every week! Thats what annoys me so much - I guess you don't know what you have got till its gone. I would give my right arm to attend these matches (well..not quite!) yet some people are put off by any lame reason you care to name. Well done, of course, to the diehards..but surely we were expecting many many more for that game.
