Let Derek go to Salford. I’d rather go part time and work our way back than be held to a random by a rich kid who treats us like a game of Championship Manager.

This has been a frustration of mine for a few years. In fact, since the board of management (or whatever it was called) became a sole owner, the communications from the club nosedived. Things like Penky's knee, Sam Barlow's back, Rangi's hip has led to people thinking there's something sinister going on any time a player gets injured. The club would've made their lives a lot easier with a bit of honesty.
As for current situation, they could at least come out and say it will be revisited at the end of the season, no talk about investors can be made public etc... instead of announcing a non-existant announcement like they seem to keep doing.

We're either starting with a point deduction or brand new in L1. Both of those situations require working back to full time and being competitive.

..........or transferred. It would have been nice to see a 'thank you and good luck' to the likes of Hall, Crooks, Bodene & Jordan Thompson, Mata'utia and especially Hansen |

| So much talk about what will happen next season, and the make up of this year's 8s fixtures, what will be will be, I'd like Derek to stay, even if he has to reduce his investment in the Club, but if he feels he has to go then so be it , someone will take over, maybe we have to start on a 12 point deduction,we will survive,with decent crowds and a hard core following ,I realise maybe folk won't want to come to watch the bottom 8s , but a fair few will.
Myself I'm bringing my eldest daughter for the first time this season, she's been to a couple of away games and is now ready to start watching games at the LSV again,let's all try to convince new or even old fans to return.  |

Being the high profile expierienced player's they are purported to be - only one short of half a team you name there, and there are others still with us that fall into the same catagorie, are they not a good part of the reason that we find ourselves in?
We can blame all and sundry within the club but people in the stands didn't drop any balls, give any bad passes, miss to many tackles, etc, etc.
Albeit better management off the field could and should have been better, ultimatley the buck has to stop with the player's. |

Hopefully it wouldn't be a 12 point deduction, Ian. Bradford's punishment was in the days of three points for a win. However, it's all relative and we would still have to win as many games as Bradford did, to get back to zero!

I'm not commenting on the ability or quality of their play, Harry - merely that the club hasn't even mentioned they have gone! Wouldn't you say that Hansen, in particular, was worthy of a thank you, from the club? |
