Mr C,its a forum not social media. You give your identity away on social media often so family and friends know who you are. If you choose to reveal your identity on forums that's your choice.

Social media= Reveal identity to be social.
Forums = Don't reveal identity to be social.

Two different forms of communication media with different rules. No need for social media antics here,use social media to do that.Nowt wrong with banter,but constantly asking people to reveal their identities or enticing people to do it,is just not on.

What atomic says is right Mr C so please don't try to name people who wish to remain anonymous. Tipster Ste got another chance yesterday after he tried it on with another poster (after he'd been explicitly told not to) so it's only right that you get another chance too.

I would not mind if I was actually named John and posting under a pseudonym.

Again a number of people on here know me. Keith, Your knowledge of the game, and your input on the game on these forums is valuable to everyone,however,what i find strange is the fact you have been posting on here for the past eleven years with nearly 5500 post,and suddenly you don't agree with the AUP ,and feel there is some kind of clandestine society going on here.

People use net names for all sorts of reasons – I did when I set up this account in the dim and distant past. Some of those reasons might be daft or even, possibly, nefarious. However, what the moderators and admin will not tolerate is any sort of 'outing' (or 'doxing', as it's sometimes known).

Right now, I don't see any major problem here, but I ask you ALL to remember this.
