Brierley is History, but he is still good enough in my opinion to get into Leighs starting 13 . He will never be forgiven, and to be honest his move to Huddersfield was probably the worst career move he could ever make.

I can see him playing in Canada, but one thing Ryan does have which is severely lacking in our back line is Pace !!

Our forwards are doing the business this season. The backline needs to up their game !!

Why would anyone contemplate for one second Leigh bringing in Ryan Brierley to be Leigh's 5th best choice halfback behind Drinkwater, Reynolds, Ridyard and Hampshire.

Not a disaster if you are playing at home vs Hunslet in the cup, but if you need a play maker to orchestrate a Super League victory against the likes of Saints or Warrington then you going to be on a hiding to nothing with him, that's for sure and every Super League coach knows it.

He's not been the same player since the middle of that 2015 season. Lost that ability to commit a player, which gave McNally the space to create so many tries. Yes, he had a good game against KR in the 8s last season, also had a lot of games where he was anonymous.

I'm not quite sure why we need a post on Ryan Brierley on here? He made his choice when the words (Loyalty & Integrity) had barely left Rowley's lips!
I personally have consistently said he was not a 'Play Maker' and the times when he was charged with this responsibility for Leigh, he came up short!. Like everyone else, I enjoyed seeing him show the opposition a clean pair of heels however, his halfback play was hurried and erratic! I believe we would still be in the championship had he remained a halfback at Leigh which begs the question, which position does he play? there's none at Leigh for him any more both Hampshire and Reynolds are more creative then him and Riddy, is the Daddy of them all (metaphorically speaking of course)
