I know your a big part of Leigh east and I'm not bagging you or calling you for this as well all want Leigh lads staying at Leigh not going back Wigan/saints at a young age BUT until 3 year ago the club could barely get a first team on pitch, running academy's is a dear do and we needed SL before we even attempted it. Ask me at 16 part time at Leigh or full time at Wigan? Even as a born and bread leythers it would Always be Wigan I'm afraid... Stay up this year and start investing in it and I'm happy

Without fully knowing who it's going to work, being a member of Leigh's academy along with education at Wigan and Leigh college seems like a good set up for me - although it will obviously take years for it to start reaping the rewards, as you say staying in SL is crucial

With complete respect how many lads were playing regular SL in 2016 that came through East or Miners? Moore, Manfredi ( who was at Wigan since nappies) but who else

We have 6 players in that squad and Wiggin 5, now I am a huge supporter of Wigans conveyor belt and how they provide so many SL players, but they have one less overseas on show than us despite the huge financial difference through the respective tills for many years

Everyone know that there is a [i'Open Invite'[/i to the Tommy Sale Youth Academy meeting at LSV tomorrow night at 7 p.m ?

I am unable to attend as a) I am working in Mcr & b) I have a 5 year old I like to say "goodnight" to.
I am pretty certain that [i'We'[/i will be able to contribute 'financially or otherwise' to the new T.S Academy set up (as Bulls fans can & do), therefore I shall be contacting & asking how.

If it is a case like [iLISA[/i where I can contribute a monthly or annual sum then I am most definitely 'in' !

In Leigh as we all know, we have 2 of the most successful & high profile Amateur RL Clubs of recent times & I feel that it is high time that we fostered the [i'Very Best'[/i of relationships with both to a) aid our local elite amateur RL Clubs & b) that it should bare fruit for LCRLFC in the future. If this also means financially helping both Clubs then LCRLFC should do it.

This may appear a very simplistic view but I don't pretend to have the inside knowledge of relationships that others posess.
