| Has anybody heard from Honest Joe?
Being the huge Leigh fan that he is I am sure he will be on here soon enjoying yesterdays win with the rest of us.
After a season with just 1 loss since February here are a few of Positive Joe's highlights.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he is still in bed after a late night celebrating a great victory for the Leythers!
Very good, Nozzy. It wasn't the fifteen pints that made him ill it was that damned humble pie. All I can say is that he doesn't change his opinion until next Saturday night!

| A few stats from the HKR game.
Top tackler Danny Tickle (again!) with 46 tackles with zero missed tackles.
Just behind him was Cory Paterson with 42 tackles and zero missed tackles.
Paterson also 2nd in meters made with 129m.
But Hansen stole the show.
24 tackles, zero misses, top meter maker with 148m. Zero penalties, zero errors and best of all a ridiculous SIX tackle busts!
Salford must have been mental letting Hansen go, the guy is a machine!

BaB, I think folk are being a bit harsh on Honest Joe, I think he was only saying what he thinks and believes, we are all entitled to our opinions, whatever happened I think Joe is a Leigh fan who only wants Leigh to win as we all do.
Myself I missed yesterday's great win due to a Caroli family holiday, but I did see the game on Sky, it's been a great week end, a Leigh win, a few quid won on the Horses at Haydock and Ascot,Ribby Hall is a Class place to be,and hopefully tonight win a few shillings on the Roulette at the Grosvenor Casino.Lastly well done Leigh Centurions.

Hansen was superb yesterday. Absolutely monstered the KR players in every tackle he made. He made a big difference when he came on.
Tickle is impressing me more every game. Gets through a load of work and never stops. Turning out to be a very good signing

Make no mistake, Salford offered Hansen a deal and did not want to let him go. But Hansen lives in Leigh, is a 'leyther' and bought into the clubs vision. He will be back in Super League next season at a club he loves.
Also Nozzy can you give me a sneak preview of your Harold Rigby dossier, just in case the day arises I actually get something wrong. Gordon Bennet

Firstly, Chazza, shouldn't that be "Firstly, well done Leigh Centurions"?
Secondly, I'm sure Joe is just as you say - Bongser was only applauding the effort that Nozzy went to to prepare his post - Mr B too has been known to bite his nails as the 8s progress.
Thirdly, as pointed out by you (passim) and Nozzy (just now) my first impression of Tickle was a tad hasty. Well, wrong actually. For the record, Joe, I also get the gripes from humble pie (though seldom from beer).
Lastly, Charlie, Get Off My Cloud!

| [iMoM[/i see [iMen[/i of the match for me were Corey Paterson & Harrison Hansen, absolutely ripped it up against a KR pack that in the end couldn't cope with the ferocity & intensity of the Leigh forwards defence, this of course was the 2nd half where it seemed that it was a case of 'same players - different team'.
Dayne Weston was a little bit off on Saturday, not poor but because of his 'tackle technique' early on he often put us under the kosh, penalties & field position giving KR an easy time.
As the game wore on & our pack started to dominate you could see the KR forwards tire with every tackle or carry, they were gone.
1st half KR were doing us on the fringes, we were definitely slowing the PTB to cope & penalties were killing us. Gaz Hock was lack lustre & looked uninterested at times, at least 2 maybe 3 times during the match he threw crazy offloads with no support in impossible positions, he did improve a lot in 2nd half though.
Riddy, Drinkwater, Hood & Higham ran the show when we eventually got on the front foot with Corey & Harrison imperious in the middles.
So while it wasn't the best performance by Leigh it was yet again enough to turn over another SL side, should we be [iOn It[/i at home to Giants & with a partisan crowd , I see no reason why this team can't go even better & guarantee SL at the LSV on Saturday.
Come on Leigh #BeLeighve

| I think most of his offloads yesterday were actually handling errors. Plenty struggled to keep hold of the ball.
Thought hock had a very strong second half, got through plenty of defensive work and made good yards driving the ball in. And I can't remember him conceding a penalty!

| Hock had a terrible 5 minutes near the end of the 1st half where he lost the ball 3 times.
However, he did a really strong opening spell for 25 minutes before going off for a well earned breather. Hopkins came on, scored a try, got injured and went off again in the space of about 3 minutes and Hock was forced to come straight back on and play the rest of the half when it clearly wasn't in the plan.
He was visibly out on his feet when the errors started piling up. Anyone playing pretty much 40 minutes straight as a prop having only planned for 25 would be shattered. Doesn't excuse the errors but maybe goes a way towards explaining them.

| There was plenty dropped ball in that game. AJ with two in our half, unforced if I remember.Mitch Brown unforced,Tickle,Worthington letting it slip out.Lot harder for a forward to keep hold of it in those conditions when driving.Thats no excuse for the backs though.
