| Staggered Oggy that you described Hock`s performance as `quality` - Have we sunk so low? Fellow Leythers on this forum certainly don't agree with you.
Charlie - you have it wrong. Very few player in SL applaud mistakes of the oppo or pat heads. McNally really needs to be spoken to about his antics.

| He attracts 3 and 4 players every tackle has a good pair of hands. People don't want too give him credit for he's past and because he does give penaltys away! Henis better than spencer/Wilkes/emmit we need too get him fit

953.jpg 2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!:953.jpg |

I said i wasn't taking them and you called me unreal oggy. That is part of amateur rugby maybe but not professional. We will have to agree to disagree and end it there. What we have had to witness for the last few games has been disgraceful whether it be from our opponents or us. If you think what we have seen is rugby league then check the rfl disciplinary pages. 36 referrals since the beginning of the season. Only 7 have resulted in charges you might say but still way ahead of any other champ team. As long as the club see brawls are ok even if provoked we will be punished severely by the refs.

| Look at the Wakefield and Salford games! Against super league teams the games flowed and there was only one incident in each game both started by the other team! I really think it will be different in sl next year and good rugby will play divedent!!

There's a difference between being physical and slapping players in the face, collaring people, and so on. You can be a physical team without all the niggles and stuff just by being strong in tackles and hitting hard. I'm not saying Fev weren't doing it too, but your team contributed to what became an absolute farce of a rugby league match yesterday.

| The fight started against Bradford when one of their players threw a punch. The one in all in mentality was perfectly valid then. Unfortunately it's taken far less to trigger us off in recent weeks. Unless I (and the RFL review committee) have missed something, the brawl against Fax started when from a completely over the top reaction to lying on. And a handbags style scuffle started yesterday just from being dragged into touch!
Teams will always want to slow things down and get into our faces, just like we will want to if we play top SL teams. At the moment we're making it easy for teams to goad a reaction to the point that they don't need to do anything beyond what normal game plan would be anyway! And just denying it's happening isn't going to help, can't see refs looking too favourably at us from now on.
Fev were guilty of the most serious incidents yesterday, but we were too quick to get into scuffles when it was nowhere near necessary.

Still got a lot of championship games with championship refs to win before we can think about being in SL though

| After the Merrick shocker at Dewsbury the club had Smith in to review the game and the way we are being refffed. He basically said it was shocking and demoted Merrick. Since then every Champ ref we have had has been at best as bad as him, refs sticking together??
The way the game was officiated yesterday was very different from the previous 6 imo, I wonder if the middle 8's will be reffed the same as we are, or as in SL? Making the transition even bigger when the time comes.
Is it too much to ask for SL and Champ to play to the same rules, and be officiated the same.

| So, you are actually blaming poor officiating for Leigh's continual petty indiscipline.

| Leigh are far too good a team to resort to thuggery, hopefully somebody can remind them of that. That statement is one I agree with, and has been said by martyn sadder in this mornings league express.
