It is a good job then that Leigh were only a part time club last year when Leeds decided they would not bother to better Leigh's score for a good 60 mins.

Thankfully we are now a full time squad and equally SL clubs may actually need to raise up to 3rd gear

And Liam Kay had a try harshly ruled out, All Sky pundits were in agreement it should have been given. Ryan Breirley (unusally for him ) knocked on whilst clean through and would have been another try for Leigh in 99 out of 100 games.

Did Fui Fui Moi Moi play for Leigh, Did Leigh's skipper play for Leigh? Were Leigh also missing a host of first teamers? You have not balanced your argument.

I love that a few fans of SL clubs come on here to tell us we aren't as good as them and reference the Salford game to point out we only just beat a weakened team.

No mention of the players we had missing, or the fact we had an unused sub. Or the fact that our team was put together on a significantly smaller budget than theirs.

If we lose at Wakey but give it our best I'll be more than happy, and will look forward to playing them at the LSV in the middle 8's. If we beat them I'll look forward to reading the dogturd excuses that Avenger & co make

It will be a tough game no doubt,but it will be interesting to see their response either way.

Don't actually think we will play them at the LSV looking at the fixture format. We will only play 1 SL team at home.

Apart from injuries, poor refereeing, bad weather, the grass not cut properly, poor coaching, no money, and everybody hating us, most of us don't make excuses those players' missing have missed practically all the season so our coach can virtually pick his strongest side available (assuming he knows it) so if you win then you will no doubt deserve it and I'm sure you won't hear many excuses from most of our fans

Indeed, the very fact that Wakefield fans are on this forum shows we are worried about the fixture.
Our form hasn't shown anything to give us confidence and you can clearly play rugby so to try and just say you are a lower level team and should lose is a bit naive or at least a desperate wind up.

I hope it's a good game. I hope we win. I'm not confident.

Penky's been a huge loss since injury & with this not being the ideal game to throw Foster in I'd bring Reynolds on for the start of the 2nd half for Riddy & possibly bring Riddy on to replace Bob for the last 15mins at dummy half. I think Hock's likely to play but I wouldn't put him in this week due to a lack of match fitness as this will no doubt be a high tempo game & factoring in Fui not doing long minutes coming back from injury. If Acton wasn't up for a ban I'd have put Spenner in for him but with a likely ban being implemented next week we may as well use him while he can. My team would be
