Baffles me, the forward pass law. To a simpleton like me, if the ball ends up in front of where it was passed from, it's gone forward. Or is there something more complicated, that I should be aware of?

As I said, even allowing for any sort of "momentum", it was a forward pass. I was in line with it, and the direction from the player passing the ball was forward.

Apart from the momentum rule, most refs miss a forward pass because they are the the simpletons.

I'd argue that if Leigh was so indisciplined week in week out that in a game like RL it would be impossible to go on a 24 game winning run......

If it was a a crash ball then I'd be inclined to agree, but I think the benefit of the doubt has to be given with a cut out pass such as today, thrown on the run on a breezy day. |

It's not been week-in-week-out ... It's been creeping up on us gradually since Salford encounter I'd say.
Needs addressing soon though otherwise we can kiss our chances of SL bye bye |
