Kay, Pendlebury, Ward, Foster, and Warburton.

| I personally think we are more than ok for half backs with Riddy and Kez, and then the cover listed by Fred. I think we need a strong prop to replace Hopkins (as he is not our player unfortunately). I was really hoping that Duffy would take the next step this season but he still has a way to go if he is to make a mark at a SL level.

| Ryan Duffy is young for a prop and has played a few first team games this season and has never let us down.
Since we signed him his game has improved immeasurably and I think that progress will continue. Hope we keep him.

I have watched many of the reserve games on LCTV and Duffy looks good in those games, and I agree he has never let down in the first team. My thinking is however, he is still not looking as fit as any of the players we have currently signed and still struggles to make it back into the line of defense in quicker games. Full time would definitely benefit him as it would most players but is he going to be good enough to push for a regular first 17 position next season or do we need to sign a starting prop. Also do we retain him if we retain Bate.
I actually really like Duffy, and was very much in the 'keep him camp' when people were calling for him to be cut towards the end of last season, but I did hope to see a fitter, faster player this season to add to his skills.

There are a lot of lads Duffy's age who would struggle to achieve his fitness level. You can't play against Leeds Rhinos and not be fit for example. BTW I think Bate always gives 100 % too.

With all respects to these lads , but they are playing in the second Tia of reserves , they might get outshone by the likesof Wigan , Wire , Saints , Leeds and such reserves , hopefully a few of them will make it , but we need blokes who can take us round the pitch now , there is nowt wrong with Riddy and Ryan , im a big fan of both these lads , but I do feel an experienced Half to assist them , London and Bradford are now recruiting for next season , then we have to compete with the likes of Fev and Fax , and if we get into the Top 4 we have to compete with the bottom 4 in SL who will all be busting a gut not to be there .Its going to be good , its going to be hard , but its going to be Dog eat Dog and we need to get a touch of Quality to assist our Good Squad .

| As does most other clubs in Rugby League, half backs especially good english ones are as rare as hens teeth I was pointing out that we have a raft of local signed talent and we should be bringing on that talent especially these days, plus last time I looked Kay was a first team regular another good stand in is Bob Beswick not forgetting McNally.

| Well thats rather obvious isn't it thats why he's playing him there, we are talking about playing strength in depth and that is what I was reiterating. It really is not an ideal world and people must prepare for that, that is why players who can play in a number of positions are as valuable to a team as a specialist.

| When we played Leeds in the challenge cup the response from other super league clubs was amazing. They said that they where already looking at a super league side in the making. So with full time training this team can only get better and that will be worrying to quite a few of the super league clubs already.

| If Riddy isn't considered experienced enough now then he never will be.

| Nobody has said Riddy isn't experienced , all that has been said is maybe we need another experienced half to compliment him , a Rapier and a Broadsword are both Swords but very different in use .
