| Mixed emotions on pre season games and their worth to be honest, unsure on the number but looking forwards to it all the same.

| The harsh reality is that the Wigan game will be our biggest gate of the season with Salford second, excluding a great Cc home draw of course

| Well I think the club have been very smart here because games against full strength Wigan and Salford will surely attract locals who do not normally attend at the LSV and if our lads go well they may continue to attend when the league games start.
These fixtures should also make the club money. And remember the Pies have not won at the LSV since 2009 and these days we always tater Salford.

You beat us once in a preseason game in 2012 how's that always tateringbus us? Plus I doubt very much we'll be full strength against you, Chase won't be playing for a start as he'll be on holiday.

That's the problem though Frank. Wigand and Salford won't play full strength teams against us, so anyone coming for a one off will be disapointed at what will be effectively a SL reserve game.
We also seem to have picked up significant iunjuries in previous pre-season friendlies

| That is a lot of friendlies by anyone's stretch. I hope people do not begin to lose interest by the time the season starts proper.
I will try and attend most of them if I can. I do hope the club adopts a sensible pricing policy as we have seen the RFL do with the world cup and reaped the benefits of doing so.
As for the Wigan friendly, and despite what is being referred to on here, I will await the squads being announced before committing to that one.
The Oxford one down at Leigh East is a promising one, that's definitely one club I have never seen play before so I will be interested in their progress as a team.

Yes hes had wnough warm uo games during the world cup, then he'll travel to Australia with the squad for 3 weeks at their training camp, Gareth Hock has only just started back yestersay and he didn't even play a single World Cup game.
I'd be surprised to see Rangi play anyway,

| I must admit I'll be surprised if Rangi Chase does play v Leigh. However he should be the only absentee, with everyone else available so it will be a strong team from us.
Looking forward to it.
