I think reduced prices is the way to go. As was said earlier, Wiganners won't turn out for this unless the prices are low.

The price should be reduced from the usual league pricing due to playing a lower league team. Prices too high, no-one will bother! Leigh should take note! (if the prices are reduced)

I think the attendance will be OK, it is after all a proper local derby. Leigh fans will attend because it is a joust with the big boys and Wigan fans will be looking for their team to smash the upstarts from down the road.

Some of the Leigh fans will have to be told which team is which and that John Woods has packed in playing now .

For the die -hards , i can recommend Sharpys Fish and Chip establishment , just behind the Away stand , very nice ,Charlie knows .

I haven't posted on here for quite a while but continue to follow the lads whenever I'm home.

I cannot wait for this game and the fact it is on a Friday Night is even better. The whole occasion will be electric and Mrs B will also be attending (which she doesn't normally). If its anywhere near the atmosphere of the Leeds game last year it will be amazing even at an away venue.

However, I do have a nagging feeling that all the supporters who have stuck by the club since Super League and rode the roller coaster may well get let down by the idiots who will crawl out of the woodwork !!!!!!!

I really hope that we can get a massive following into the away end and just concentrate on supporting the Leigh lads without resorting to the infantile, outdated and unacceptable, moronic chants of hating Wigan. The Leigh team require 100% support from the terraces to get them through an extremely tough task and that means concentrating solely on Leigh and its staff. I find the 'We hate Wigan' chants a bit embarrassing and feeble. Hopefully all the idiots who get punchy after a can of strongbow will drink J20 for the evening and engross themselves in an atmosphere of excitement and humour no matter what the result or scoreline is.

Town of Leigh : Get yourselves down to the game and enjoy a thrilling evening of RL and support your towns team like never before. This could turn out to be one of the best nights ever, win or lose and hopefully provide memories to last a lifetime. You just never know what might happen....................
