A statement needs making about what is happening NOW and what is going to happen at the end of the 2014 season when the current licencing period is up.

Regarding Kylie Leuluai; he is Samoan so qualifies to play over here under the Kolpak ruling, and enjoys the same freedom of employment as the Bosman ruling affords to EU citizens.

A statement from the club??

They could make their displeasure at the situation known, but what else could they possibly say about either what is happening now, or what is happening at the end of 2014? We've no idea as the RFL have no idea, or are keeping everyone in the dark about it.

So on the presumption that you're not talkign about an RFL statement, I'd like to know what you think the club could possibly say to us. We already know they don't like the current DR setup, that was covered some months ago.

I wouldn't mind a collective statement from the chairmen of the championship clubs, if the rfl refuse to clarify whats currently going on.

Well by 'staying away' you are just walking into the hands of the RFL, thats what they want attendances to dwindle, revenue to go down and clubs to fail and go bang (outside of SL of course) then the SL clubs can have ALL the monies and sponsorships on offer, it's the quickest way to say goodbye to our club, and once it's gone I hope you all feel very proud, you can all have little badges made with I HELPED THE RFL KILL LEIGH RFC.

Answer is to attend all home games and the teams that aren't twinned give money saved to Lisa club will have more money to spend and invest on improving our attendances

Wasn't talking about home games Fred. By the way check out the champ attendance foe round one. Only two out of the seven games attracted more than 1000.

Isn't it bloody great this sport. From being very upbeat a few weeks ago it has managed to bring about a complete feeling of dismay and no hope. You can't blame them Fred for feeling like this. Quite a few have given monies done work and followed our team through thick and thin. Now what could be the last kick in the teeth is delivered by the sports ruling body. A full on march is whats needed by every single amature and prossional clubs fans to show these tools that they are not the greek gods sat high on a cloud that they think they are. It's about time that they became accountable for their actions like every other despot organisation.

This club ceases to be a club if its future is in a reserve league, and that "it seems, will be decided by people not associated with this club,so with or without our money,leighs future seems sorted one way or another.

Instead of having a go at us,send some emails to the rfl demanding clarification on the matter before the damage becomes irrepairable.

Sounds a great idea that TV. However do enough of the fans care, many have walked away from the game in the last few years. The main problem seems to be the club Chairmen. Also the RFL is fast becoming an invisible and powerless body being completely swallowed up by the greedy and selfish Chairmen that make up SL. The worst thing about all this is that the same person sits at the top of both organisations (although he does need more than one chair to fit his humungous backside)

I was and as I said I’ll see how it goes, but in the last few years we appear to have rapidly gone from Competitive games, to what could turn out to be nothing more than glorified training sessions.

If I and possibly others decided to stop going and Fred or anyone else wants to blame me for the demise of Leigh Centurions then so be it, I wont lose any sleep over it, as this isn’t the sport I signed up to in the 1960’s.

AHnd I bet one of those wouldn't have, if it had been a cup tie with a shared gate!
