I can tell you charlie is one of the nicest guys you could meet, and i don't think you should come out with comments like that without any evidence.

I don't need to apologise to "Charlie" as i never accused him of anything......read my post again. You will see i said "if it was you" and then qualified that by saying if it wasn't. Get off yoir high horse and read things before going off on one.

What did charlie say that would make you think it was him, it could have been anyone as someone else said.

If the person in question didn't mention beer, Frank and pay at regular intervals then it wasn't Charlie.

Marshy1, on a more serious note can you wear a shirt with "I am a prat" on it so that there wont be any mistakes with identities on Friday.

I never mentioned any names and to the best of my knowledge don't know any Leigh fan called Charlie. I reiterate a fan sat with the Dewsbury fans wearing a Leighh shirt, persisted in foul and abusive language at any Swinton player in earshot. Totally uncalled for and as i know most Leigh fans are nice people aka leythet matt he was a disgrace to the Leigh club.

The thing that has shocked me this season isnt the step up in class from the C1 to C rugby but how upset some of the fans get in this league. For the past few years its been good fun with loads of banter. This season I have seen more stress and falling out in 6 games than I have seen in the past season. I guess its the fact we are a 'small fish' in a big pond. I am really looking forward to Friday.

I know a good few Leigh fans and I can honesly say they are all sound as a pound, and love RL. This being a local derby and us both having a poorish start to the season means there will be far more passion than before.

I think we have to play at the top of our game and Leigh have, not an off day, but not play at full tilt for us to win. I cant see it being a walk over either way but I have been known to be wrong on more than one occasion.

As for players that have stood out:

Mills - looks like he can play a bit but really looks like he CBA playing for Swinton. Richy Hawkyard gains more yards and hes 8 stone wet through.

Armstron - been my player of the season so far. Not been flying but been solid and shown some real class and has an awesome sidestep.

The only gripe I have is the 12 o'clock KO. Do ya not know I can't watch rugby sober. Spoons for 8am it is for me.

I always support a Lancs team over a Yorkie one (well almost always ). Am sorry about that incident you describe but it would not have been Charlie as he would have been out of it on Acorn juice although he was there.

Watched your game against Batley' as I know did the Leigh coach and your best two were Armstrong and Watson. No doubt if we close Watson down should be a comfortable Leigh win.

As you say Marshy you dont need to apologise , i dont expect it ,i was definately NOT the Leigh fan using foul or abusive language , i was at the Dewsbury match with my Daughter ,and wouldnt do this , another Leigh fan off this Forum was also with me and can also vouch for what i say .

Most Leigh fans know me ,i say many crazy things ,IM A CLOWN thats me , but im never abusive , as for Swinton i still dont rate them , and wont be cheering them next time either , no hard feelings though Marshy , but you did GET THE WRONG GUY .
